My wife had visited the Granada Theater many years ago and really wanted me to see it. It is very beautiful and very easy access to all seats. My wife has some mobility issues, but by using the elevator and taking her time she was easily able to get to row W (the top row of the balcony. Even way... More

We went to see a musical which was not a great production but the venue was so great we had a wonderful evening. The renovation of this glorious theater is the best. They even made sure to have adequate bathroom facilities if you go upstairs.

A wonderful Sunday afternoon at the Granada listening to the Santa Barbara Symphony play Handel and Bartok and a wonderful new composition by Italian composer Cristian Carrara. The Granada Theater is beautiful and a wonderful venue.

My husband & I attend the New Year's Eve Pops. The theatre has been renovated & its beautiful. You can't go wrong with any seat in this theatre. The show this year was truly wonderful, with a Maestro who has been with the Granada for the last 10 years & a guest Opera singer, who also sang songs from the... More

Went and saw trombone shorty a few weeks ago. Every seat seemed to be good.l, acoustics too. Only downside for our event was no alcohol in seat area. Not sure if that is for every show. Either way , rocking small venue.

It is not a huge theater, every seat is a good seat. 2 floors theater with a few balcony box seats. There is a small bar on the first floor.... More

I attend numerous productions each year at this fabulous theater in Santa Barbara. One of my yearly traditions is to attend the State Street Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker Suite" in December with friends. The renovation of the Granada brought it from disrepair back into being the stunning architectural beauty that it is. I always look forward to returning to... More

I attended a private function at this theater and it was great! It is an old theater, with beautiful architecture. It's a classic setting- perfect for opera performances. Great experience!

The Granada Theatre is a 900 seat theater with quite good sight lines. For opera lovers, be aware that there is only one translation board, so sitting in the first 7-10 rows requires that you glance up to read the translations and, I suspect, some of the side seats would present difficult angles. We sat in the third row and... More
