To copy some of the other reviews, it was a perfect tour. My wife and I appreciated our professional, knowledgeable, and witty tour guide, Ian. Not only was he informative about wines and the Santa Ynez Valley in general, but his people skills and relateability (if that is a word) is what really set the tone for the "perfect tour"... More

This was a perfect tour! Our tour guide Joseph took us to four very different wineries, as well as taking us through back roads and pointing out the local hawks and bobcats. We were able to take our time and the sandwich was delicious! I would only recommend you bring snacks if you need to munch between glasses, like I... More

Enjoyed a beautiful tour of back country Santa Barbara County, from pick up at our downtown Santa Barbara hotel, up and over the ridges of the Santa Ynez mountains to beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. From our seats in the open air jeep we had a guided tour past Lake Cachuma, to the wineries, where the sun shone brightly in contrast... More

We booked this tour to celebrate our anniversary and had the best day ever! Greg was our tour guide for the day and he was awesome... Truly enjoyed the winery's he suggested and had a wonderful relaxing picnic lunch at Lincourt that overlooked their beautiful vineyard ... It was an amazing day ... The weather was on the cooler side... More

My girlfriend and I signed up for a full day of wine tasting with Cloud Climbers while vacationing in Santa Barbara. She enjoys wine and I have never been tasting, both of us had a great time! A "full day" excursion consists of 4 stops, a lunch, a free wine glass, and lasts about 6 hours. You can get picked... More

We took the Cloud Climbers Santa Ynez Backcountry wine tour and must say it was the best day of our vacation. We were picked up at the hotel and the five of us had our own Jeep. Joseph, driver, guide, storyteller, naturalist, and more, made this much more than just a wine-tasting trip. On the way and between stops we... More

I booked this wine tasting trip for my best friend's bachelorette party - there were 6 of us so the Jeep seating worked perfectly. I think we may have worried our tour guide, Jason, a little bit at first but he soon realized we weren't your typical group of rowdy bachelorettes. Don't judge a book by its cover - just... More

I booked this a week or so in advance of my trip and was hopeful that they day would go off as scheduled since it was mid-week/off season. I was thrilled to find 4 other travelers in my group with myself as the only single. We all became fast friends - two of them took me to dinner that evening... More

If you want to have fun on this trip, it will start with good company. Each Jeep seats six in the back, so make sure you're with like-minded individuals or the conversation will quickly get awkward as you start putting back bottles. We went to four wineries, but only 1 of them was very good, 1 was average, and 2... More

We went on a Cloud Climbers wine tour this past weekend. We were picked up from the hotel oceana in santa barbara. There were four people in our group, and we had a mother/daughter join us. We were very lucky because we got along with the two of them super well - in fact, by some bizarre coincidence they were... More
