Our adventure was the morning of April 3, 2010...Chuck picked us up in a gorgeous Land Rover and off we went to the mountains. We visited Indian Caves, found many animal tracks, went off roading over hills of dirt and rock with some hefty splashdowns in the mud puddles. We saw the mountains, ocean, valleys and more from several elevations.... More

Great Trip!! You wouldn't guess Santa Barbara had back country wilderness uh?? Took the fam on the all-day back country trip with Chuck (our guide) for a fun day of nature walks, watching deer, following bear tracks, and picnic lunch he picked up for us at some deli before we left. It was a little expensive, but he's the only... More

Great tour and beautiful weather. My family has visited Santa Barbara many times going back to the 60's and this is the first time that we have ventured out of the city and into the beautiful back country. Chuck is very knowledgeable about the area and provides a top rate tour. More

SB Safaris has to be the most scenic of all the Santa Barbara tours my husband and I have done. Our guide Chuck took us all around the backcountry of Santa Barbara to Chumash Indian cave art, a fun and easy short hike overlooking the entire coastline, and a beautiful sunset at the highest peak complete with snacks, champagne and... After hearing good things, my best friend and I decided to go on a SB safari. Chuck, the tour guide, picked us up from our hotel. He was on time, gave a friendly greeting, and we already felt like we would be in good hands. He had a beautiful car, a pretty new land rover—very comfortable. Chuck was enthusiastic, and... More

My husband, teenagers and I took this trip to the majestic mountains of Santa Barbara. Normally this isn't something we would do but we were feeling adventerous and looking for something new to do so we went for it. It was so wonderful, the scenic views were breathtaking. The drinks and snacks were a nice touch, but the lavender towels... More

I took my wife up on a sunset tour and it was a blast. My wife is not fond of heights or off roading, but she enjoyed the trip and would do it again (if she can do it, anyone can). I thought it was an amazing trip. Chuck is a very likable guy and truly enjoys the excursions. He... More

My husband and I spent the weekend in Santa Barbara and went on the “Off-Road Nature Safari” with Charles as our guide. We departed very early and watched the sunrise from mountains above SB, a truly awesome sight!! We then went behind the mountains back into the Santa Ynez valley where we had a picnic lunch, saw many deer, and... More
