This is the second time we have kayaked in the Channel Islands. This is truly a unique and wonderful experience. The first time, my husband and a friend each did it with our daughters. It was so much fun that we came back with our spouses and two other couples. The most remarkable thing was the clarity of the water.... More

Wow - best day in a long time! Staff were awesome (Matt and Cooper) as well as the Truth Aquatics staff. The marine life were everywhere and in overwhelmingly good presentation; whales, sea lions, dolphin, birds etc. The facilities were in great condition and we could not have asked for a better product. Wow - wish they were all like... More

We were a small, 4-person group, so we were able to ask a lot of questions. Our guide, Kyle, was incredibly informative! We just moved to SB, and Kyle gave us excellent after hours tips- where to go, where to best breweries are and what else to do in the area. We saw a bunch of wildlife on the tour-... More

We heard about Santa Barbara Adventure Co through Men's Journal Magazine as a great way to see the Channel Islands by kayak. We booked the trip about 3 months in advance and the people helping with setting everything up were knowledgeable and very helpful. The trip itself was fantastic. Rye (as in the bread) was our guide and was not... More

I loved this experience. I had never visited a place like this before. It is such a surreal feeling to enter one of these caves, especially Painted Cave, to hear the echoing calls of sea lions all around you and to smell the distinct odor of their bodies. All the while bobbing and swaying on your kayak just inches above... More

Our trip to the Channel Islands with Santa Barbara Adventures was the highlight of our trip to Santa Barbara. All of the folks at SB Adventures were very professional, friendly and accommodating. We had some issues with dates and reservations as we were part of a large family group and they went out of their way to accommodate us by... More

Our first time kayaking trip to Anacapa Island was unforgettable! Our family of 5 had a great time and our guide, Adam, was perfect! He was knowledgeable and friendly and most importantly was his concern with our comfort and safety during the entire trip. He always made sure to check the caves to ensure our safety before letting us go... More

Santa Barbara Adventures went out of their way to give us the best possible experience on Santa Cruz island. We booked a 2-hr kayaking tour. We could not have anticipated such amazing customer service. A guide met us on arrival, gave us an orientation to the island, and helped us transport our gear to our campsite. The kayaking tour was... More

We went on the two hour kayaking tour around the bay which was perfect. As the other people on our tour hadn't turned up, they decided to not keep us waiting and took us, as a family of four, on our own private tour, which meant we had more freedom to choose what we did. Easy paddle, some very cute... More
