Nice elements in this fairly small, linear park. The short stroll from one end to the other is enjoyable with a meandering path, very good landscaping, and some ponds. Along the way there's a very nice carousel and a great playground with a variety of unique elements.

Everything in Santa Barbara is beautiful. My good friend of 20 years recently got married at chase palm park. Setting was great, and the pictures came out stunning! Right by the beach and weather was perfect!

I've traveled the world -- Paris, London, Monte Carlo, New York! Hong Kong, Honolulu, Rio, Berlin, Cote Azure, Cann, -- on and on. You can't beat this strip of palm lined pavilion anywhere in the world. Green grass, ice plant in bloom, birds of paradise, the East Beach Grill at one end (don't miss the blueberry-wheat germ pancakes) and the... More

We have been going to the Chase Palm Park Arts and Crafts Show for the last 30 years. It is held every Sunday throughout the year. Don't miss it!

I give this place 5-stars because the carousel does the trick every time. If I'm in the area and my daughter is with me, it's a guaranteed stopping place for us. My daughter leaves here happy and satisfied. We usually ride twice. You can't beat this type of entertainment, and it's a really cool spot. There are homeless people in... More

Stopped by this park for a lunchtime picnic. After the picnic we visited the carousel. Despite the fact that it says a minimum of 4 must be there for the ride to start the operator allowed my son to ride it alone. We found large koi and freshwater turtles? in the small park lake - which my 2 year old... More

This has a full functioning carousel and is very affordable $2.00 and it lets adults ride it too, sign says 250 lb. and up sit on inside horse. The carousel is very old with lots of history, the park itself has a lot of kid stuff to do nearby, I don't know if a playground nearby is included in the... More

What a nice park. We walked and biked the length of it and beyond a few times while vacationing in Santa Barbara. We loved the art show and all the vendors booths. We'll be back for sure.

Parents and kids alike will enjoy finding the various whale statues "swimming" through the grounds along with the sculptural lighthouse and other structures. With a duck pond and a nearby carousel, there is much for the kids to love and their adults to appreciate.

Leave it to Santa Barbara to have multiple parks on the ocean! Walk, ride a bike, have a picnic, read a book, or drive by slowly and enjoy the view. This is a pretty park right in town.
