Well-organized, and very friendly helpful staff. Saw lots of whales and dolphins. 4 hours was a bit long for us as we saw whales shortly after departing and throughout the trip. But I suppose it might take that long some days to find them. Highly recommended.

The Condor Express whale watching is incredible! We are Santa Barbara locals and pretty jaded by touristy stuff, but this is different. Capt. Eric's ability to find whales is astounding, and he and the docents are extremely knowledgeable. We could not tour the islands due to rough seas, and I was initially very disappointed. However, the increased time watching dolphins,... More

This was a great trip compared to the whale watch I did in San Diego. I actually got to see gray whales and many dolphins. Probably the best part of doing a whale watch with condor express is the fact you don't have to stay with in a harbor for twenty minutes as I did el I actually got to... More

I was hesitant to take another whale watching tour...because I have taken three before this and never saw any whales! This boat, which is a catamaran, goes out for 4 1/2 hours...and goes way out into the ocean. I knew we were getting close to whales, because there were hundreds of dolphins all around the boat, thousands of birds, and... More

We were able to join the boat for a 2 hour tour in early May. We were thrilled to see a whale and it's calf, in addition to many, many dolphins. The guide was very in tune with the whales locate and moving the boat around for us to get a great view. WE sat up front outdoors and then... More

We booked this trip last minute and it was one of the coolest things i did while visiting Cali.... We Saw around a dozen humpback whales feeding, lots of dolphins and to top it off when we were on our way back to shore a blue whale just happened to pass by our boat.... Its worth the $100... Afterward we... More

My wife and I love this boat and the crew. We have seen some incredible things on the Condor Express. Santa Barbara has much to offer out on the water. The Channel Islands are magnificent but I love the whales. Humpbacks, Grays and Blue whales are seen on a regular basis. There are numerous places on the vessel where anyone... More

We took a 3pm trip. The sun was shining as we left the harbour and had no expectation about whether we would see anything. We boarded and the crew talked us through what we might see. And a bit of background about the mammals. I originally wrote this review talking about everything we saw, but I think it might ruin... More

This was an amazing experience! In 2.5 hours we saw a couple pods of dolphins ( one was huge: over 100 strong) and two Gray whale (mother and a calf). Boat staff was very knowledgeable and professional. This is one of the best ways to spend $50: you will make memories for the rest of your life.

I highly recommend this company if you are looking to do a whale or dolphin watching trip. We did a 12 O'clock departure on a beautifully clear and calm day two weeks ago with our three kids. Within 5 minutes of leaving shore we saw a Gray whale and her calf nearby. Soon after we were surrounded by over 500... More
