My wife and I love this boat and the crew. We have seen some incredible things on the Condor Express. Santa Barbara has much to offer out on the water. The Channel Islands are magnificent but I love the whales. Humpbacks, Grays and Blue whales are seen on a regular basis. There are numerous places on the vessel where anyone... More

We took a 3pm trip. The sun was shining as we left the harbour and had no expectation about whether we would see anything. We boarded and the crew talked us through what we might see. And a bit of background about the mammals. I originally wrote this review talking about everything we saw, but I think it might ruin... More

This was an amazing experience! In 2.5 hours we saw a couple pods of dolphins ( one was huge: over 100 strong) and two Gray whale (mother and a calf). Boat staff was very knowledgeable and professional. This is one of the best ways to spend $50: you will make memories for the rest of your life.

I highly recommend this company if you are looking to do a whale or dolphin watching trip. We did a 12 O'clock departure on a beautifully clear and calm day two weeks ago with our three kids. Within 5 minutes of leaving shore we saw a Gray whale and her calf nearby. Soon after we were surrounded by over 500... More

Several reviewers seem to have complained about this outfit but we found it to be excellent! Nature and wild animals are unpredictable, so complaining about what you didn't see would be unfair to the outfit. Our trip was much better than we had anticipated based on several of the reviews we read. It's $50/person so not cheap. Almost 3 hours... More

Don't be put off by the poorly designed website nor the wait time when you call nor the less than friendly voice you are greeted with when finally talking to someone to purchase your tickets, nor even the hard-to-find docking area and limited parking-- THIS IS A FANTASTIC WHALE WATCHING TOUR (we saw 3 grey whales, four pod of dolphin... I will begin by saying that I cannot speak for the quality of the tour as it was cancelled on the day we visited. I understand that there are plenty of reasons why tours get cancelled and that life happens. Definitely a bummer, but understandable. That said, the way it was handled was horrendous. After reading the reviews on this... More

It was a beautiful day, we saw a lot of dolphins, sea lions and one whale. There were two volunteers on board that made all the difference. They were very nice and explained a lot of things about the wild life and whales. The only problem was, nobody told us that they were doing that on the upper deck. Half... More

We went on this afternoon trip with low expectations because we had been on an incredible whale watching trip in Juneau. While not as spectacular, this was 2 1/2 hours of great mammal watching. Sea lions were all over the harbor and napping on the buoys, common dolphins played tag around and under the boat, and two gray whales stayed... More

With over forty years of world travel this is one of the best ever experiences. A 2.5 hours cruise off the coast of Santa Barbara to watch to watch the annual migration south of the California Grey Whale. The weather was perfect, the sea was calm and we saw 9 Grey and 2 Humpback whales which came within 25m of... More
