You must see this place! Interesting murals, Moorish tiles, reeking of history. Take elevator to top then walk down the stairs, visiting each floor.

Beautiful building, landscaping and views of the city. We expected to do a quick walk-through, but we enjoyed almost two hours here. We wish they stayed open later in the evening for evening views of the city from the top floor.

We attended a wedding in the inner courtyard of the property at the back steps and it was just beautiful. The setting was picturesque with views large garden and grassy area and the courthouse steeple where other people were able to watch and clap. Only thing lacking was access for a stroller (or wheelchair) to get there. My friend had... More

The most beautiful courthouse in the country. Stop in and look at the "Mural" room. So much history and architecture.

The courthouse is open to the public, for free. We joined a guided tour. Lorna was a great tour guide. We learned so much about the building and the history of the entire area. The courhouse is built in this Spanish style that is typical for Santa Barbara. It has so many beautiful rooms that are worth a visit and... More

The courthouse has a bell tower that can be climbed with a nice view of downtown Santa Barbara with all its red-tiled roofs. The grounds are lovely and picturesque. We saw a wedding occurring as we were visiting. It's free so well worth it!

I have to laugh that this is the number 1 attraction in Santa Barbara, but I have to admit that is what got me there. The architecture here is incredible, and is a historical site. Take a few minutes and go up to the tower to get some amazing views of Santa Barbara. Very photogenic up there. You won't spend... More

Lucky enough to get a guided tour. Go for it if you're interested in getting some context and history of this part of California.

Great point of view! You can actually see the whole panorama of Santa Barbara and it's free. Courtroom looks amazing! Must see in SB!
