A few years back, I had to attend the courthouse for a work-related issue. The construction of the building was simply breathtaking. Last weekend, I took my GF and she was stunned by the majesty of the building. We were able to enter one of the courtroom and the murals was simply beautiful! A must see for all tourists!

We enjoyed the architecture and the beautiful views at the top (tower) of the court house. there are beautiful murals in a court room that you can go in and see. The most interesting part is the amazing tilework throughout the building.

This is one of the best courthouses I have been too. I love to go to courthouses when I am in new areas. I love to check out the atmosphere, the decor, etc. This courthouse is mission style. Tons of tile work to admire, wide open hallways, breathtaking view from the clock tower. Definitely worth taking the time to visit.

Wow, absolutely beautiful! I could visit the courthouse again and again, and see something new each time. It's hard to believe it's still a working courthouse. There was a Fourth of July orchestra concert on the lawn. The music, the view, the architecture, the holiday, all combined for an intoxicating and unique experience. Love-love-loved it. More, please.

Besides heading up to the clock tower, take the time to view the clockworks, the mosaics and murals in the halls, and especially the Supervisors' Chambers. The artwork is stunning, and detailed. There's a lot of California history embedded in those walls.

I am a local and taking the court house tour is a must do periodically. Each tour guide gives a different spin on the building and I learn something new on each visit. The view from the tower is spectacular. This is a beautiful city.

Be sure to stop here to see classic architecture, beautiful rooms, and the best view of the city from the clocktower.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon, but managed to get in before it closed. The views from the roof are really pretty. There is also a cool spiral staircase if you're into photography.
