We took my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter here and she enjoyed it. Once inside, we did pay a little extra for the merry go round and the train ride, but she had a great time. The train took us around the farm area & on a little more. It was shady, so on a hot day, we weren't too... More

I love this Zoo...There are tons of animals to see and its very reasonably priced! I would say it better for younger kids. There is a train ride and a whole barn animal section. Parking is free and easy. Fun day out with the little ones!

This place is way smaller than LA zoo or San Diego's, in my opinion I like this one because is fairly small if u have young children and it's nice they have a playground as well. Not as much animals but the ones they have are interesting and cool to see.

This was a small zoo but very interesting with the number monkeys they had. The most memorable was a 30 year old monkey that was almost completely bald.

Do not expect the San Diego zoo experience. This is a small property but it is well laid out with nice landscaping and has lots to stimulate the mind of young children. They do have an elephant, and lots of different types of monkeys, and other small animals. The kids can run around and have a great time while learning... More

When you have a need to visit a zoo but not the stamina to visit the LA or San Diego zoos, the Santa Ana Zoo is a great choice, especially for children!

Did you know that this Zoo must keep fifty monkeys at all times! This was the request made in 1952 by Joseph Prentice, the founder of the Santa Ana Zoo. Small but very fun zoo for all ages.

This is an ideal little tyke zoo. Quiet. Some real animals. No pushing and shoving of the larger zoos which is not their fault. It is the perfect answer when you have a split family with older kids who want a more active adventure and a toddler (and maybe a parent or grandparent) who might need a quieter day during... More

I went to this zoo because I didn't have anything else to do that day. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. I was most impressed with the anteaters. All the animals seemed to be well cared for and active. They even have an American bald eagle. I would recommend this zoo to anyone with a free afternoon.

It is a cute little zoo with playground, train, and carrousel. There are not too many animals to see but it is fun and easy to navigate. My toddler enjoy exploring the zoo very much. It's perfect for family with kids. I will definitely go back.
