summer kids' programs.

Great place for summer kids' programs. Evey summer they're had at least one program that my sons really liked.

Unless you are particularly interested in seeing the ape collection or the giant anteaters, you may be disappointed by the overall experience. While the zoo folks have done a lot with the relatively small amount of available space, many of the cages are enclosed with dense-mesh fencing that does not lend itself well to photography. A lot of the cages... More

Quaint zoo with interesting exhibits. Small crowds. Lots of families with small children enjoying all the sights.

We were in Santa Ana waiting for our flight home. We had a few hours to kill and decided to go to the zoo. We knew that the animals would be sleeping and hiding from the afternoon Sun, but we went anyway. The zoo had plenty of shade and places to sit. There is a grill where you can get... More

This all is known for all the varieties of monkeys but it also just opened an ocelot exhibit. It is easy walking and great for families with small kids.

We came out on a Saturday and enjoyed the zoo very much. There are a lot of benches to sit and r elax in with many of them being shaded. The zoo is very small and geared more to the little ones, but couples can easily spend a relaxing day there. There are more monkeys than any other animals, with... More

If you are looking for the type of zoo experience you would get at the LA or San Diego Zoo, this is not the place for you. I knew that this was not going to be some huge zoo with Lions and Tigers, but I was pleasantly surprised. My wife, my mother and I took my 3 year old to... More

This little zoo is so cute. It is very tiny and there aren't a whole lot of things to do, but I'm glad it's here because although small, it still has enough attractions and reasonable price that it's definitely still worth the visit!
