If you like monkeys, this is the place for you!

A smaller zoo filled with all types of monkeys. Fun for the family and a good 2-3 hour outing. Easy to get to, but the parking can be a bit hard to find.

We have 4 grand children and they love this zoo. So, we have had a family pass for 3 years and enjoy taking them to see the monkeys, play at the playground and ride the train or carousel. It is a perfect zoo for little kids.

Disappointed in thus zoo. As an LA and San Diego former resident, I found the Santa Ana Zoo to be significantly lacking in the animal department.

Visited this Zoo with my Grandchildren it is only a small zoo but perfect for toddlers and small kids but not much for older kids and grown ups. We were having lunch and informed over the tannoy that the train and carousel were now closed this was at 2pm ( The Zoo does not close till 5pm) the kids were... More

This is a charming zoo with a small town feel. It has the distinct reputation for their moneys which are the chief cornerstone of the zoo. They also have a great playground and shop area - and a train and a carousel that is so much fun to ride!

Beautiful small zoo with easy free parking. This zoo is great! Small, lots of trees, great walking path, farm animals to feed and pet, jungle gym, snack bar, train, and carousel for the kids. My 8 year old enjoyed the visit, but would have absolutely loved it when he was about 5.

I've taken our little two-year old son to the Los Angeles Zoo a few times and while he seems to enjoy it, spotting the animals in the distance has proven to be difficult for him. I decided to take him to the Santa Ana Zoo and found it to be a pleasant surprise. The zoo is inexpensive and has plenty... More

This is a small, well maintained zoo, the land donated by the Prentice family, insisting that they keep their name connected. It is clean, limited, but well kept animals, a petting zoo for the kids, and on occasion elephant rides. Worth a couple hours.

Took my young grand kids, first time for me too. Large and exotic enough to be interesting and small enough as to not where everyone out. Clean as zoo's go, lots of places to rest, picnic benches, and friendly staff. What is not to like, nothing.

We took my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter here and she enjoyed it. Once inside, we did pay a little extra for the merry go round and the train ride, but she had a great time. The train took us around the farm area & on a little more. It was shady, so on a hot day, we weren't too... More
