This is a small museum in a old train depot. We had read about this and wanted to visit. We did learn much of Sanger and area history just viewing the outside exhibits. I was shocked to discover that I knew so little of the founding of my home town.I assumed that is was a farm town from day one. My brother who still lives in Sanger knew the history. I guess I wasn't paying attention in school. We had family obligations all weekend and did not get to see the inside exhibits. But when we get back to Sanger we will return.

We enjoyed the display and all the history. A lot of native Indian artifacts, and also a lot of logging/geography information was given. Explains the history of the area and how people made a living. Very nice displaying and a couple of little short films. Comfortable and nice interior. Friendly people to greet and answer questions.

There is lot to see inside. This museum covers sangers history way back to wjen it was founded. Lots of old pictures and a lot of Indian stuff from 1800s. Well worth the visit. Kinda hard to know when they are open asnit is all volunteers. Check times before going.

Very interesting history about our area. Beautiful Indian artifacts. Diorama of logging operation in the Sierras. Had lots of fun. Learned a lot. Kids had a great time as well as the parents.
