Beautiful beach and board walk above it. Sand (dark) rocks, pebbles and natural ocean and land debris Sun and clouds, wind and surf...what's not to like... It's the beach, the view and the "moonstones" that make it special It's also cool to see locals and tourists together Yes, yes, yes

We walked on the boardwalk. The wildflowers were in bloom. The blossoms coupled with the stunning views of the ocean make this a memorable walk. We went down to an area of tide pools and saw a number of harbor seals resting on the rocks. We recommend taking this walk.

What a blast! It was so much fun to relax on the beach and explore the different stones. It was a great stop and not very crowded.

It's not really great for beach-walking as you sink right into the sand, but the boardwalk built up above it makes for great morning walks. I don't remember seeing any of what they call moonstones due to the tide, but it was still quite beautiful.

Just an absolutely beautiful beach with pounding surf, beach, rocks and cliffs. Great boardwalk for strolling. You will want to be on this beach come sundown. Gorgeous sunsets!

Stopped by on our way out of town and was so in love with this area. It was not crowded and we went down to walk across the stones which was in contrast of sand on a beach. We picked up various stones to bring back to the grand kids. It was such a amazing place to visit with the... More

There are not too many beaches in the world where you can walk across semi-precious stones instead of sand. Moonstone Beach is one of them. Small stones of Agate, Tiger Eye, Jade, and of course Moonstones. Those are the ones that look translucent, with a milky film. We spent HOURS on the beach combing through the stones for all kinds... Beautiful experience ! Friends had been there last year and found a few large, wonderful moonstones on their walk. While we found a few small specimens, the fresh sea air walk , spectacular storm waves pounding on the beach, and the colorful rocky beach rocks were our pleasurable attraction to this most unique and inviting area. The boardwalk made it... More
