This was the last leg of our trip, and we stopped at Cal Poly SLO. The campus was closed so we just walked around campus. The signage on campus was really bad - we only found one "you are here" kiosk toward the end of our visit. That said, it was still a nice walk-about.

My daughter found this university when searching for excellent bio-chemistry programs across the country. We couldn't be more pleased! This university does an amazing job of making the students, and families, feel at ease, even when they're 2,200 miles apart. The campus is gorgeous! The chocolate (yes, they make their own) is delicious! And where else can you go and... More

We spent several very enjoyable hours walking around the campus. Seeing the bookstore, peaking in on some classes, seeing the horse barns, etc. Very nice campus, lots of positive, friendly students and staff. Makes you feel young again, and want to sit in on some classes!

As an Alumni, I enjoyed driving through campus, as we had time to kill. It's not really open to do anything on the weekends. But, it was a drive through memory lane, for sure. Each building seems to have it's own design plan.

This is a great place to go to college. The location is great with beautiful views and only 10 miles from pacific ocean. Check out the new dorms and the downtown is a great place for food, shopping, etc.

This great University is tucked in the California hills on the west side of San Luis Obispo. I support this school but would only recommend you stop to visit if you have a high school level child considering attending.

I have a long history with Cal Poly. I'm sure I'm not the only person who was conceived on the campus; but I may be the only one who took thirty years to complete a BA and MA degree and who went on to teach in the English Department for over a decade!

Was there when there were no students - Christmas break - so it was empty. The new dorms are quite modern and so is some of the architecture. Not close enough to the SLO downtown area to easily walk.

Cal Poly is a wonderful University. I majored in Psychology. The college is a lot larger now than it was when I went, but I still think it's a great small town, and friendly community. It offers great majors and teachers, too.

My soccer team that I coach had an opportunity to meet with the women's soccer coach and assistant coach and what a great experience! We were able to visit the teams locker room, weight room and stadium. Thank you Cal Poly SLO women's soccer!
