This is such a gem. I really don't want to share it, but for those of you with children who are active, this can be a great highlight. My sons very active, so we try to get them outdoors as much as possible. This was the place! For $5, the cost of parking on campus, you can go to the... More

Lovely sprawling campus - look for the sheep at the Agri Center. And Rec Center/Pools are amazing! Terrific vistas all around.

Beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA - with Cal Poly right there. If I were younger I would for sure try to go to that Cal Poly. Beautiful campus. Darling town to be in, 20 minutes from the beach.

What a college, what a campus, one of the best in California. By far the best location to go to college in the entire US. A perfect climate, and a lovely town. That is one of the problems that occurs over and over, people go to college here, and then never want to leave. I know I did! This is... More

Just drove through since that is where my nephew attended college. Not much to see during the summer.

If you are traveling with a family, a marvelous way to view the Cal Poly campus is on the double decker bus that the City of SLO runs. It is coordinated with the student schedule and runs more on weekdays than weekends, (so check the schedule online or by calling) but I have taken many visitors to Cal Poly this... More

My son will be attending this university and is beyond excited. We were there for orientation and because it was a summer weekend, there was no need for parking permit. Always check ahead of time because things change depending on whether school is in session, if there is an event, construction for new dorms that will be starting in September... More

Since out son will be attending this was a primary reason for our visit to SLO. Nice campus layout and worth taking stroll around campus if you like to compare to other university settings. Visitor parking is $5 and you can pick up the pass at the information booth on the main entrance. Parking is next to the Performing Arts... More
