The fountain outside the Mission is fun - you just have to see it; I don't want to spoil the surprise...that is the start of the pedestrian part - at Christmas, they have a Santa Claus to visit....in June, no Santa - and no trout and practically puddles of water in the Creek -very scary. I have been here in... More

Mission Plaza is a hub for events, music, displays, etc. It is adjacent to a creek, the Mission and so many other wonderful places. Come for the LGBGT Fest. and then see a Sidewalk Chalk Painting display another time. There is always something going on.

The Mission Plaza is a gateway to the Mission, the stroll along the creek, restaurants on all sides, the SLO Art museum and more, all within a 1 block radius. With events almost every weekend and often during the week, well come on down and check it out and enjoy! Whatever your style, it is most likely here somewhere!

After seeing the mission we took a stroll outside the mission and came upon the creek. My granddaughter enjoyed it. It had plenty of shade and benches. It was nice to relax and enjoy the simple beauty of this area.

Great place to stroll through or hang out. You will see family's, couples, painters and the alike. They hold music festivals here as well as craft fairs, art exhibits ect. Walk through the mission, bring your camera, then find one of many great places to walk to for lunch .

Great place to wander around, go down to see the creek, check out the mission museum and people watch. The mission garden has a walkway covered in a grape arbor that smells amaxing in late summer.

Beautiful place to relax and listen and look at the creek. Nice picture spot for mission pics. Many restuarants overlook creek and have lots of greenery around them. Great place to sit and eat an ice cream cone or a Cowboy Cookie!
