This is a fun place for young children to explore. Lots of good play areas and fun exhibits. My 3 year old could have spent the entire day here. Very much oriented toward active learning. Water wheel, earthquake simulator (build a model and turn a wheel to see if your building will collapse.) More

Would recommend the Children's Museum for kids up to age 12. The upper floors are for younger kids. The first floor was fun for all. Easy to get to, easy to pass an hour or two inside. More

The once pretty basic SLO Children's Museum has been turned into a very special place. If you go with a toddler, be sure to go to the top floor, where everything is a bit quieter and the entire... It's fine for a once in a while visit but it's small size makes it hard to go back more than once a year, especially since they don't have anything very special or unique there. More

Older kids will be entertained but not for long...better to hit one of the local parks that are free. More

I have nothing but good memories of the Children's Museum from visiting as a child and was happy to experience it anew when I took my nephew. It didn't disappoint. More

The museum is very fun and has many unique and interesting activities and exhibits for kids, including a create-your-own art area with lots of supplies and lots of pretend play opportunities on the 2nd floor, also very cool Archimedes screw outside- would definitely recommend! More

Took the kids to the children's museum for the afternoon & they loved it. It was a great place to explore and my 5 & 4 year olds loved every minute of it. I highly recommend checking it out! More
