We attended a concert here and were highly impressed by the beautiful venue, the friendly employees, and the good seating floor plan. There's two beautiful hotels within walking distance so we'll stay at one of those places next time. We can't wait to go back!

We were very please with the venue. It was a great of an obviously historical building that had been renovated with modern conveniences. We would absolutely return for another show.

We were here for a wonderful concert for Downtown Streets. Joan Baez, Jackson Browne, and Emmylou Harris. Wonderful evening== setting is so quaint and feels so cozy. Acoustics are good and the way it is set up every seat is a great seat. Staff was friendly and the bar was well stocked and reasonable. I highly recommend this venue.

the remodel ruined the venue. where else can we now go for amateur boxing, roller derby exhibitions, local " talent " shows, etc. the local community is now priced out of utilizing the site. there was a time when the place was for the local community, creaky wooden floors and all..

This event center is great. We have attended a number of events here and the last 2 years we have seen these 2 groups and loved everything. The venue is a great place to see many events, especially a concert. The staff were all friendly, professional and the prices for food aren't bad either. This smaller, more cozy venue makes... More

Was here in October to see e Snow Patrol concert. The venue was nowhere near sold out so it was comfortable to stand with the crowd and enjoy the show. The acoustics were pretty good and the actual building itself is quite nice. The drinks were very pricey so pre-load if that is your thing. All in all an interesting... More

I would give the Dukes an “A” for effort but for things out of their control the overall concert garners a “C.” First, they should have played a different venue as the San Jose Civic Auditorium is nothing more than an oversized gymnasium. Perhaps, this was a great venue during earlier times but it just does not compare to today’s... More

If you like small venues to see upcoming or past bands, this is the place. I saw so many shows in the 80's through today there, including Rick Derringer, Huey Lewis, Edgar Winter, Pat Benetar, and so many more. Great place with convenient parking and restaurants nearby.

We've been to this several times for various dance competitions. Older theatre that is showing its age. Parking for fee is conveniently located across the street at the San Jose Convention Center.
