I was suprised to find a tasting room so close to the heart of San Jose. The wine tasting at J Lohr is free to sample up to six wines and the wines are very good. We had a very nice experience at J Lohr at the end of the day during the Harvest Weekend in Paso Robles. The J Lohr winery is located not far from downtown San Jose and most people probably aren't even aware the tasting room is there. It is well worth finding.
