Maybe the event I attended didn't bring the best out of the arena and maybe a home San Jose Large Fish game would be bring it to life but I thought it was average, not bad but not that good. Food stands were just ok but expensive. Certainly not a patch on MSG or the Staples Center

SAP Center was one of the best things that ever happened to downtown San Jose. Amazingly, it does not present a traffic problem. Parking rate is high. I've only attended one Shark's game, just too brutal for me, however, this is a great venue for concerts - Streisand, Pavarotti, Jagger, you name it, they've played here. Enough restaurants in the... I was in a suite, so the food and beverages (including alcohol) were comped. Awesome view, great atmosphere. The Sharks won, so a great day.

Not all the restaurants were open even though there were 15,000 at this event. The food service folks were friendly and helpful. The food options were limited. More breakfast type items would be good. Yogurt fresh fruit. Most of the hotels don't have continental breakfasts anymore.

SAP is not huge and laid out well so even if your seats are high and way back - still worth seeing concerts there. The location is nice and convenient to both San Pedro Market and also Diridon Station for those that prefer to take the train down from the city.

Excellent access on & off freeway. Adequate & close parking. Seats are comfortable. Sound system great, same as lighting. Great restrooms. Great local - restaurants within walking distance of stadium.

We held our spring convention at the SAP we had approx. 17,000 in attendance. The seats and viewing were terrific, the area established for the family room was great for families w/children. The vendors food was great but extremely pricey $4.50 plus for a average size soda. The staff was not friendly - I felt like we were being shouted... More

Loved all the options for dining. Many local restaurants along with chain restaurants were represented there. Plenty of rest rooms and spotlessly clean. It was great for our Nerium conference...must be a fun place for Sharks ice hockey!

Nothing special about the arena. I've seen worse and I've seen better. The surrounding area there's absolutely nothing to do though.

We were here for WrestleMania weekend and went to Monday Night Raw here....the venue itself was very, very clean and inviting...however, I think the venue only had one door open for 17,000 people to enter through! The line to get in extended back to California 87....I counted about 6 blocks...if it had been raining, it would have been miserable waiting...they... More
