This place has less rides as compare to Gilroy gardens. Great place to see common animals in zoo but don't expect tiger, elephant like animals. So with the given price it's ok to visit and 4-5 hours are more than enough to cover whole zoo and park.

It's not really a great zoo, only a few animalsbut the kiddie rides and setting were perfect for a day with the grandchildren. Park in the further parking lot, the pedestrian bridge is amazing.

The rides are suitable for young children. The lines are long and the place quickly gets crowded. The animals are pretty scarce and old looking. Not the park it use to be

This is the best place that I have ever taken young children. There is a perfect mix of low key rides and accessible animals. The hands on interaction with "safe" animals is much better for young children than exotic zoos.

We brought our 2 year old for her birthday. She had a great time! She enjoyed the animals and also the little firetruck/police car ride and carousel. There was a little house with slide and funny mirrors she enjoyed. They also had a nice outdoor playground area that she liked a lot. She played hard and was exhausted after half... More

I took my daughter to this park last weekend, when i went to pay for entrance i told the ticket person that i have membership from Chabot and that with that membership will give us a discount. He told me that I needed to call Chabot because the card that i was showing him was a temporary one, i was... More

I actually visited here several years ago when my kids were young. They loved it. It's a small zoo just the right size for little ones. My grandson has been recently with his parents & he loves it just as much as his dad did years ago.

This is a fantastic park & zoo especially for younger children. Even though my grandsons are now 6 & 9 they still spend hours on the great climbing structure/slides. They also enjoy the roller coaster ride but have outgrown many of the other rides. We have had a grandparent pass for at least four years and every time they visit... More

Another hidden gem in San Jose which offers family fun. Since the zoo renovation the grounds and exhibits are clean and accessible. The rides are fun and free with your entrance fee. Food is available, but you can take your own in and sit at picnic tables which are available to all. A fun, inexpensive was to spend the day... More
