I liked it and the kids really liked it

This is not magnificent but I enjoyed it. The kids ages 9, 13 and 14 liked it a lot so I recommend this park and zoo.

We were in the area sightseeing and decided to check this place out. I went with my 13 y/o and almost 7 y/o. I expected it to be small scale, but there really aren't many zoo animals at all. We were really disappointed about that. However, the petting zoo was enjoyable and both girls had a fun time feeding the... More

I took my kids to this zoo when they were little and it wasn't in the best of shape - in fact - we only went once or twice and that was it. Fast forward many years later, this last April, my now teenage daughter had a particular school assignment that had to be done in a zoo - and... More

Great little zoo and park, ideal for kids age 7 and under. The animal exhibits are small and quaint, but many of their animals were rescued from zoos and animal exhibits that were mistreating them. So, retiring to Happy Hollow seems a good option for the little critters. Rides are included in the price of admission!

Although this was not the place for a young adult with no kids of their own to visit, I can tell it would be a wonderful adventure for a family with young kids. Definitely geared towards small children (at most 10 years or younger). Children/adults older than that will find it pretty boring and a waste of time+money.

I took my two children here (5 yrs and 4yrs) and they had a great day! Fantastic value for money, you pay a one off entry fee and all the rides are free. The kids went on every ride at least twice! We took our own food, but there was somewhere to buy it. Highly recommend it!

It's not too cheap and but it's still a pretty decent place to take your kid. They have some carnival type rides and a petting zoo. It can definitely keep your kid entertained for a few hours. It seems best for the 2-6 range. Some of the rides and activities might not be too entertaining for bigger kids. Small zoo,... More

This is a great San Jose treasure. It has recently been updated and refurbished. It is such fun for kids and adults alike. We took the grand kids and they didn't want to leave. Be sure to ask about special rates or even better get a season pass and you'll save a ton of money. There are places to picnic,... More

After its closing, I was fearful that the park would lose its charm after undergoing a massive renovation. I couldn't have been more wrong. The charm is the same. The price has gone up a little, but is still very affordable, and the park remains a child's dreamland with petting zoo, more animals of the non-petting variety, and rides and... More

Went with my cousin and her kids. Haven't been here since my kids where little. It has changed quite a bit but still has some of the stuff it used to have. But all the changes are for sure very positive. The kids really had a blast and so did I. This is definitely a great time for the whole... More
