I have gone three times with a couple that frequents the place. By the way I gave a two star cause of girl bartender. My fourth visit I decided to take my girlfriend which came to visit me with her friends from Mexico. I thought it would be a nice idea to take them to place like this and REGRET... More

I came to SingleBarrel with three friends expecting that I would have a drink, enjoy some conversation and then move on. Immediately we were placed in a line to get in. The doorman read us the rules (turn your cell phones to vibrate, keep the noise level down, and never come with more than 6 people). Next he talks into... More

My co-worker and I stopped here after a presentation. They have a nice man standing at the door who quietly explains the rules. A short walk down the stairs takes you to the bar where the nice bartenders try to find a neat old-style drink for you. They were entertaining, kind and we had a blast. I encourage you to... More

Stopped here for a drink before a show at the Center for Performing Arts. It's within walking distance which is ideal. This place has an excellent atmosphere and ambiance. They really do the speakeasy theme justice. The bartenders know their stuff! I got an exceptional manhattan. This really is a classy joint. Will definitely be back!

I have been a couple times now and taken new friends here. It is unique and fun and best of all, you can talk. It has some lounge seating as well to make you comfortable. The bar tenders are mixologists and they will ask you questions in order to customize your drink. Highly recommend going at least once.

Please let me preface this review by stating that I was very much looking forward to an evening with old friends at a genuine speak easy replete with tasty hand crafted cocktails, and a sultry but convivial ambiance. Initially the evening looked quite promising. My old College friend was visiting on a business trip, and a group of us West... More

We have visited many times, favorite is early in the evening or late sunday afternoon especially if we would like to experiment with our drinks. I do keep my favorites in notes on my phone so I won't forget. Don't forget your id or no admittance even if you look like their grandmother

We had been looking forward to trying this place, and finally waited in line. We got in it just before 7 and it didn't take more than a half hour. I definitely expected it to be quieter. It's not TOO loud, but it's certainly not quiet. The ambiance is lacking. Decor could be more Art Deco, play some great jazz,... More

When I finally get a night out with my husband and friends, the last thing I want to do is to go to a place with a million rules. No groups of more than 6 (yes, they make you sit at different tables,) no loud talking (yes, they come around and shush you!) No picking your own drink the first... More

You wait in line upon arrival where you are greeted at street level by a professional ID checking, rule declaring, but courteous gentleman. Once a "bartender" is able to accommodate you the door greeter guides you to the basement where an extremely personable and knowledgeable mixologist greets you with a few questions of your preferences in taste. From those responses... More
