Outdoor shopping area containing many average to fairly good restaurants and several stores crammed into a tight area. Accross from large indoor mall off Steven's Creek Blvd. It is a nice people watching site in San Jose near Winchester Mystery House.

I found Santana Row in San Jose, CA to have great shopping and restaurants. It reminded me a little of NYC. The shops were brand specific and offered great boutique style shopping. The restaurants, although some were chains, seemed to be local to the area. Great people watching. A wonderful spot to just stroll and window shop.

I was visiting my brother a few weeks ago who lives in Santana Row. Great food, shopping and good looking people. Definitely a see and be seen area. I like the shopping ranges from affordable to stores like H&M to high end stores like Gucci. No matter the size of your wallet you will like this area.

Santa Row in San Jose has some decent chain restaurants, which tend to be okay, but are priced higher than they should be. The shopping is sometimes interesting. It all seems so contrived and forced, but even so, it can make for a pleasant outing.
