There are many restaurants, great places for drinks and plenty of high end shopping. I used to live here, and although I would not recommend that, it's a great place to hang out for the day (I found it a little too loud and exposed for living).

Typical tourist row- great for people watching and shopping. Higher end stores which is nice departure from mid-America found-in-every-mall mediocrity.

As I walk around the corner, I see Paris, or Europe or Los Angeles. I see ivy - vines growing strong with green leaves covering walls. I hear music. Guitar. My husband looks for it too. Reaching our necks up to see over the tables of an outside bar covered by a huge tree. He pulls my hand on. We... More

Great spot to spend some time and hang out when in the San Jose area. 2-3 blocks lined with nice shopping places, and many restaurant and bar choices - many with outside on the street seating available. We were surprised how many people were out on a Sunday night even though most of the shops were closed. The restaurant selections... More

This place has the money. It has high line stores and restaurants. This is where you can find just about any exotic car driving around as if it belongs. This place is a great time filler. If you plan on spending any money, make sure you bring a lot.

Great shops, restaurants and hotels with a wonderful atmosphere!!! Good for lounging in one of the beautiful wine bars with friends or business partners as well as having meal in several types of restaurants.

Unless you are at San Jose for a Biz trip, there is nothing much to do in here other than shop and hang out at Santana row. Very posh place, although its just a small stretch of a street. Nothing much to do for more than 2 hrs.

For a long time San Jose did not have any one location that had quality and upscale restaurants, small eateries, well known top brand show rooms and a great ambience. Santana Row has all of these and hence attracts a lot of people anyday of the week, not just the weekends. Added to it, Valley Fair Mall within walking distance... More

It is such a fun place to meet friends, family, business associates or a date. So MANY choices and SO much to see. It is lovely with so many wonderful restaurants, happening bars, wine tasting and shops that you won't just see anywhere. Been there so many times and ALWAYS look forward to going back.

I have heard about Santana Row as a place to visit. I didn't know it was only shopping. I don't recommend it as a sight to see. If you want to shop, that is the place but don't expect any economical options as they all seemed to be on the expensive side. But it is pretty. There is a tea... More
