There seemed to be very very few true "flea market" booths at this event that is advertised as the larged flea market around. More like dollar store type booths, and fixed price shops of everything you could possible want to buy, including cars! and groceries. BUT overall very entertaining way to spend the afternoon, lovely entertainment , mariachis, for example.... More

The flea market is a blast and a great way to waste a sunny Sunday afternoon. We live near by and go all the time just for the walk and the views. Great barbeque/mexican food, beers, rides for the kids, great for people-watching and if you cruise down the veggie/fruit aisle near (or after) closing time, you can get some... More

After reading lot of 'must-do' activities in San Jose area, we decided not to miss this golden opportunity when we were here for sometime. Also, since we were on a visit, trip to the flea market meant buying some gifts/souviners... Quality - Anyways, there was nothing that we could even lay our hands on, such disgusting third-grade second hand stuff,... More

It's supposed to be the biggest, but it was very disappointing. It does not have anything novel or artsy. It has most of the same manufactured stuff you find in bargain store bins. More

I would not recommend going to the San Jose Flea Market. According to their website, they are NorthAmerica's largest and are open Wed.-Sun. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and nothing was open! The place was a ghost town except for a few maintenance workers. It might be great on the weekends, but don't do it on Wednesday! More

There are ATMs if you need cash. Best thing I found is that it is a great place to buy souvenirs or gifts, in case you have a lots of relatives or friends; and the people are really nice. You can also find a lot of places to eat and children will have fun, Sundays after 12:00 PM, it will... More

This flea market is the place to go. It's open everyday of the week, you find things for everything at reasonable prices, the best thing there is the mercado, the place where veggies, chiles, fruit, and other things are sold. It also has many children activities, like a carousel, pony rides, arcade games, and slides. It keeps the children entertained... More
