I had a jogging and walking session on Los Gatos Creek trail, in 3 hours visited Vasona Lake and came back. Water streams flow in parallel to the trail which gives you a refreshing feeling. Be sure you have enough time on the clock before starting the journey so that you can return before the sun set. The trail will... More

Beautiful walking trail alongside a small creek in the wooded area of Los Gatos. We enjoy walking on the small trail with our dogs on leash and find friendly folks doing the same. The trail seems very safe but is narrow and dirt with rock, sometimes a tree root or two to watch out for. All levels can enjoy this... More

You have to share this trail with bikers so watch out. However, you can get your good work out since it is a long trail. It is close to places to eat when you get hungry after working out. LOL..

Nice hike and a good starting point to make for a great day. Good crowd and a good amount of shade when needed.

I live just a few blocks away from the trail and it is one of my favorite things to do in town! it is usually busy on the weekends, but that makes it fun. If you want a more peaceful time, during the week may be a better option

This trail is literally across the street from my house. Its clean and had a nice path roomy enough for both bikers and walkers. I wish it was a little more shaded, buts its still a really nice trail.

Great trails and options here with elevation and distance choices, some shade, a lot of people and dog friendly (bags provided at LG Bridge juncture).

I took my kids here during our trip from NY. It is a nice, cute park. Good for an afternoon walk. There are also some BBQ areas and saw many people grilling and enjoying.

Here is the path that I believe rates an excellent: - Park in downtown Los Gatos, near the Apple Store / La Boulange area. - Walk towards the overpass for Hwy 17. - Pass the overpass, and if you turn immediately right, you will be on Los Gatos Creek Trail. Rather than turning right, keep going straight. - Instead turn... More

Parts of the trail were extremely pretty and nice (I.e. The park where the mini train for kids was, a cute pond with paddle boats for rent, nice picnic tables for a picnic lunch). However, other areas were very dry due to the drought/ summer weather. Not the best summer adventure if in search of a scenic bike ride.
