Hadn't been to the CPA in awhile and was given 4th row tickets to see the musical Pippin. It was a treat and even though the seats were close to aisle, it was still cumbersome to have people come in and out to get to their seats in the middle of the theater. San Jose would be better served to... More

The Performing Arts Center is located downtown within walking distance of major hotels and public transportation. It is a pleasant looking building with a nice layout. Saw the Indiana Jones with orchestra performance and the acoustics are good while there are some blind spots so far as the cinema screen is concerned, however, this is usually a non issue as... The Center for the Performing Arts is a very nice environment for concerts and performances. Shen Yun in early January was fantastic. We enjoyed this performance more than at the San Francisco Opera House (although that is a classic building!!).

We have been season ticket holders for the last 3 seasons for the Broadway shows and love it! The only real complaint I have is the fact that each row is one continuous row and if your center stage, it is quite a journey to get in out and of your seats. When Lion King was there they had made... More

Comfortable seating with no obstructed view points of the large stage. The facility is not too large and accessibility to facilities seem helpful by design. I only found one small concession stand, and gratefully didn't need to stand in line for refreshments at interval.

The talent was amazing however repetitive. I wouldn't see it again. Too bad that there was more of a story with the dance. A lot of potential but lacked the hook. Most enjoyable was the dance off between the riverdance traditional style and African Americans.

Went to see the Lion King with my wife here. The theater is small and was fully packed for a Sunday afternoon show. The sound and stage were really nice but the line for the women's restroom was crazy during interval. Food options are limited and the access to the seats is not ideal. During the show, the staff would... More

I was there for the Lion's King performance. I really like the set up outside for food and drinks. You have to finish your food before you go in. However, You can bring in your drinks. The show was good. The seat was very comfortable and the temperature was just right.

This is a great place to see a show. Easy to get into and out of, and lots of restaurants and parking nearby.

Went to watch the Broadway Show, Cinderella and our experience was amazing! Very easy to find, great parking at the hotel across the street. Easy to find our seats, comfortable and very enjoyable.
