We just saw Rain-A Tribute to the Beatles last night. It was a great show and I really love being able to see a show so close to home. We have been coming here for the Broadway shows for about 3 seasons. We became season ticket holders after our first show here a few years ago, Beauty and the Beast.... More

This performance was entitled "In The Mood" - all 40s music - the band was just phenomenal - wish it had been just them - but added was a group of singers and dancers - not so much. The dancing was good at times but not the vocals - really detracted from the performance of the band - unfortunately. Cannot... More

While the center has been in San Jose for many years, it is a good place to see a show or performance. We have gone to many shows there. Its best to try to sit towards the center of the theater (some of the side seats do not have as good of view lines.). Parking is in paid lots close... More

San Jose does a great job in promoting the arts and the Center for the Performing Arts is an excellent venue. Sure the lobby could use some new carpet etc, but overall its great and let's not lose sight of why we come here. My wife and I saw Cinderella here and it was simply wonderful. They've taken quite a... More

Some folks might say this is a dated theater, but we had a great time. Parking is easy and only $7.00. The theater lobby is laid out nicely with plenty of bar staff and quick lines. We saw Cinderella and it was funny and very well done. And for the ladies, the line at the restroom moved very quickly -... More

I readily admit that a review of a performing arts center can be influenced by the quality of the particular performance, but I have just come away from a performance by the Silicon Valley Symphony of music from Disney's Fantasia, and it was fantastic. But beyond that, the theater is well raked (at least on the main floor; I do... More

we saw Holidaze. We sat in the balcony. The seats we originally had were not that great but luckily the whole row was available so we moved to the center and had a wonderful view. The building itself looks nicely renovated. No complaints about chairs or restrooms. I would recommend catching a show here!

Saw Wicked here, my first visit to the Center in about 8 years. It felt dated then, and although efforts have been made to improve the experience, it still shows it age and inherent design flaws. Seats are very uncomfortable as they've gone soft, like what you'd find at a budget, second run movie house. Rows are exceptionally long between... More

I saw Wicked here and had great seats with a great view. I doubt that there are any bad seats in the venue. This theater is very near the hotels in the convention center so it was a short walk to and from. My only criticism would be that it was impossible to get anywhere during intermission. The halls were... More

I went to see Wicked, the musical, on its last showing the other night. The venue staff was helpful, and from my seat I enjoyed a clear view of the stage, and heard the songs perfectly.
