We are season ticket holders and really enjoy the venue. We really love seeing our favorite bartender John when we are there!

Has a great lineup of shows. Place well maintained. No on site parking, but plenty of paid parking within blocks. Can get crowded at intermission and ending. Best seats near front center.

I attended the San Jose Ballet and it was magnificent. The first act was Carmen, while the second was an original one, 'the upper room'. I tremendously enjoyed the show. The Center itself seems quite small, and in need of some work. i was lucky enough to catch the show in such short notice. Haven't had to chance to check... More

I have always wished there was a center aisle at the CPA but nowadays the building just seems old and ugly. The Flint Center in Cupertino is a much better maintained building even though it has the same center aisle problem

The theater is impressive....modern, accessible and attractive. The location is convenient with adequate parking options. We saw a lovely, very professional production on a Sunday afternoon. Families brought even small children who were quiet and attentive. People wore everything from sparkles to casual clothing. Much of the music was recorded due to budget cuts, but one long segment had an... More

My husband and I have been season ticket holders for a couple of years. We have never seen a bad performance here. Usually, we see excellent shows (Broadway San Jose). We have 5th row center tickets which certainly adds to our enjoyment. We've also found that we can park in the Oracle garage at night for $5! Makes for a... More

But I love it. Last act I saw there was Jackson Browne. I keep going and thinking how can a barn like this have such good acoustics, but it does, and it has reasonable lines of sight from everywhere I've sat which has mostly been the orchestra, but Hey I can see those folks way up high there. LOL

For a large theatre, the seating and sound are good even in the top tiers. The price of tickets is reasonable for most events. For plays though, I prefer a smaller more intimate theatre. The San Jose Rep Theatre or the California Theatre, or the Montgomery are more suited for plays.

Went to a performance of Billy Elliott there. The acoustics were good and we heard the dialogue pretty well. It accommodates over 2000 people and we expect to return there for additional performances.

This is a pretty good place to see a production. Good visibility and sound from everywhere. Bit tough to get to the middle seats.
