I had an annual pass to the CDM for years. My children loved it!. It's a little expensive if you're just going one time, but it is wonderful. Especially good for 3-7 year olds.

I love this museum, truly a discovery place! My 2 year old loves it and we went for the membership on DAY 1. We live nearby and we love visiting the museum which offers different displays, interactive activities for kids, hands on projects and take home projects. The staff is friendly and the place is full of fun things for... More

The museum's entrance leads to a real parked fire-engine which the kids love. We walk on to find multiple options to play at - which includes the bubble area, pretend play produce market, dinosaur area, face painting, garden, and a room and where the display changes, and cafe which serves a variety of food. Upstairs they have another hands-on circle display,... More

Went with our grandchildren who are very young but was still very simple to keep them occupied. Water area amazing but make sure you take dry clothes for little ones

This is a cool place to take your kids and just let them play and have fun ! There are lots of rooms with different activities for the kids to participate. You could easily spend a good part of the day here if you take the time to visit all there is to see. There is a food cafeteria so... More

Fun place to take your toddler/preschooler. Most of it is indoors, they get to play with water, bubbles, pins, paper, run a pizza place, make corn husk dolls, do art work, so many interesting exhibits, you can easily spend about half a day letting them explore with all their senses!

Nice museum, excellent for kids between 2 to 5 yrs. My daughter enjoyed a lot. There are good coloring and craft activities. Nice innovative exhibits, keeps kids engaged for long. But not worth visiting multiple times. If you have older kids, they will find this place boring.

I love the discovery museum. I have 3 kids, a 4 year old, and one year old twins. They all love this place. There is something for all of them. The art room upstairs is great for my 4 year old and the twins love the area upstairs with the balls that zip up from the airflow. Right now they... More

I took our 4.5 year old daughter there while my wife was at an all-day meeting while we were visiting San Francisco. It is expensive, but I think worthwhile. We spent all morning there, and she did not get bored. Our daughter particularly liked the water play area and the bubble area. She did get fairly wet notwithstanding the apron,... More

Hands on science & educational activities for children from infants on up. A real fire engine & ambulance for children to play in. Water play activities, bubble activities, rotating themes. Good for families & for school groups. Lots of fun! Kids don't want to go home!
