My wife and I have taken several of our Grand kids here, when we came into town to visit and they absolutely love it, and it is hard to get them away from there We are now blessed with 2 more small grand kids and can't wait to take them there and watch their eyes light up as they experience... There are a lot of different experiences and activities here, but the favorites of my two year old hands down were the finger painting (I don't actually think it was meant as "finger" painting, there were paint brushes, but she loved the paint on her hands!) upstairs, and the huge water area downstairs. She loved throwing the plastic balls into... More

it is a very well thought of place. I consider it a whole experience. What I liked the most is that they managed to incorporate a lot of elements in a smaller space. My kids can't wait to go back every time we are in the Bay Area.

This museum is really well done and a good experience to share with your children. They created many exhibits where your children can interact with various types of art, toys, science, etc. and to your kids it will all just seem like a huge indoor playground. They have food options for purchase there but if you pack some sandwiches and... More

Took my 1, 3 and 5 year old! What a great place! Clean, cool, lots of stuff to see and do. The eating area serves delicious and healthy food. We will definitely go back everytime we go to San Jose! A must if you have little ones. Kids over would probably get bored quickly and lots of activities are for... More

- Visited with 3 yr old. - Great for kids, can easily fill whole day and not finish it still. - Parking extra $5-7 in nearby lots. - Food in cafe not much choices so we brought our own which was a good idea. - will definitely come again - Best for kids 6 or under

Great children's museum offering a wide range of activities to appeal to a varying age group and different interests. Bubble tables, water works, musical stairways, full-sized ambulances, fire truck and stage coach, painting, kitchen play, separate room for toddlers, and more. The "fix-it" room was so interesting. The day we were there corn-doll making was offered. So cool! The on-site... More

This is a really fun museum for probably 6 and under. My five-year old still loves it, my eleven-year old has sighed when we go for at least 5 years. We have been members for probably nine years. FAVORITE THINGS: * They bring in traveling exhibits that are very interesting, like Clifford, or Busy Town * The water area is... More

This has something for everyone from toddlers to pre-teens to enjoy. The water play area is one of the most clever I've seen. There is a nice little cafe with healthy options but you can't bring in your own food. There is a nice little area for the under 4 crowd.

went on veterans day, with every other family off from school and work. It was very very chaotic with not enough (in my opinion) presence of staff. In particular the cafe was terribly staffed and the wait for food and quality was really off. We've been other times and it has been more enjoyable. Will remind others, its best for... More
