Spending the day in San Clemente was relaxing. It is a lovely walking trail, about 2.3 miles from the metro stop to the end. You can go a little further and walk along the mountain side also. At the pier and across the street you'll find a few restaurants. The restaurants across the street are a little more reasonable in... More

It is a great place to visit during the winter if you like to walk on the beach. It is usually almost deserted except for the surfers and you can walk a mile down the beach to watch the surfers at Trestles.

PLEASE!!! Rent a bike if you can and ride the trails! Tandem is really hard so rent beach cruisers if you are new at it! FYI JERKS will not move if you ring your bell on the trail. They are too self-important so feel free to run them over and say "So sorry, new at bike riding" Some people have... More

I visited here on my way to San Diego. Calm and beautiful beach. People were surfing. Loved the houses over looking the ocean. May consider moving here, lol.

The sites are nice, especially the ocean-view spots. Area was a little cramped and dusty, but this is a prime area.

Beautiful pier, amazing sunset, but a tricky wave shot way up the beach and stole my camera lens cap! Went home with a lot of beach in my shorts. ;)

Enjoyed our day at beach and would have liked to have shared the experience with our friends but never located the handicap accessibility. It must be there.

Parking near beach, café at the beach. Beach was clean and not crowded. Great spot to spend a few hours or the whole day. Lots of families.

My secret is out.....go to the right. It is less crowded and more quiet. Walk the pier. There are a couple of restaurants and a shack at the end of the pier that sells food and souvenirs. I bought homemade New England clam chowder from a Hawaiian on a California pier. There is great surf for surfers. There can be... More
