It's especially nice walking on the pier in the evenings while the sun is setting and the breeze is blowing.

Not sure how to rate a pier ... some info for your consideration: * Very near a train stop * At just under 1,300 feet, it ranks #4 among the longest piers in Orange County * The pier is wooden, and not so smooth; better to have substantive footwear * Once you get past the restaurants next to the shore,... If we had had more time we would have walked out on the pier and perhaps had a bite to eat at the seafood restaurant, since the area is lovely and it is a great place to catch a spectacular Pacific sunset.

This is a great pier for fishing. We saw lots of people fishing. Take a nice walk down to the end of the pier. The Fisherman's Restaurant sits at the beginning fo the pier - great place to eat.

The restaurant is called Fisherman's located on the pier. The pier itself use to be the longest pier off the west coast. Wear shoes, the wood might be rough.

Del Mar Avenue has great restaurants and shops and the pier is just down the street. The San Clemente Pier is a great old wooden pier!

Clean and crisp, like its surroundings. Try Fishermans Restaurant after a stroll on the pier and the weather was great in February compared with Northern Europe!

This is one of the nicest piers on the California coast. The Fisherman Restaurant is great for views, and a cup of chowder. The pier is always clean, and well maintained. You get to look back at the town of San Clemente, one of the most beautiful places on earth!
