Husband and I spent half a day in San Clemente and made the pier part of that trip. We had fun walking along the pier to the very end. Beautiful view of the San Diego skyline from the end. We also had fun watching surfers catching waves. It wasn't crowded when we were there at 10 a.m. on a Sunday... More

We enjoy coming here for the early bird specials. The Halibut and Chips is excellent. the wonderul atmosphere of the ocean and relaxed meal makes it very enjoyable. I have tried several of the dishes and all have been quite good. We like to bring our out of town friends here to enjoy the ocean and relax with a good... More

After a great lunch in downtown San Clements we walked down to the Pier. It is a very popular attraction and it is very long. You can get in some good walking and on a good weather day the views are beautiful. Well worth your time.

Great board walk over the ocean to observe fishermen, ocean waves, and surfers. This pier has a number of seagulls which can be chased by grandchildren.

This is a fun area to park and walk around...we didn't visit any of the restaurants in the area - but it seemed to have a few to pick from. The walk to the end of the pier is very pleasant to watch the sunset

Enjoyed walking on this pier as we waited for our table at the Fisherman's Restaurant. Saw quite a few fisherman (one caught a sting ray while we were there), many walkers and a few runners. Great place to watch the sun set over the Pacific.

We had an excellent lunch at the Fisherman's restaurant on the pier. There were two sections to the restaurant, one on the right, one on the left. We chose the Oyster Bar section as we wanted to have fish and chips. It was reasonably priced and the best fish and chips, (very fresh with a beer batter), that we've had... More

We stopped here for a leg stretch on our way from San Diego to LA. The town was very cute and the pier a fun stop. The color of the Pacific here looked almost Caribbean! There were many surfers in the water and it was fun to watch them. We stopped at the restaurant on the pier for some ahi... More

The San Clemente Pier is an amazing structure. This long pier, juts into the beautiful Pacific Ocean offering views to Dana Point and at the right time of day the Channel Islands. The pier is a favorite spot to stroll, sit on benches and gaze at the sea, birds, and surfers. Early morning and sunset are pretty nice times to... More
