A great way to kick off several days in wine country. Our server (Lauyen) was awesome with lots of extra pours. Very knowledgeable.

We went to four wineries on our recent visit to Napa and Duckhorn was, by far, our favorite. Wonderful setting, very quiet to enjoy wine on a beautiful porch. Our wine server, Jacqueline, was one of the best I've seen. Very talented and friendly lady. We will definitely be back. Duckhorn fans for sure.

While I did enjoy the beautiful winery and the good wine, I could not rate better because of the greeting we received upon arrival. We drove out of our way to stop here and were greeted with a snotty hostess who chastised us for not making reservations when it was still quite early and not busy. When she decided to... More

My first California wine tasting was at Duckhorn in 2013 and we just returned for another visit that was just as fabulous and memorable as the first! Jacqueline was our wine educator and she was great - very knowledgeable about the wines, passionate in their description and made the experience more fun. We love the wines, house, ambience and outdoor... More

There are many wineries that offer tastings, of course. My view is that Duckhorn is the best. You can be seated either inside or outside, with outside heaters if the day is cool. An array of four wine stems will greet you, with each accompanied by a small label describing each respective wine. Additional detail will be provided by your... More

Presently (1/10/15), the Duckhorn tasting room is under construction but that didn't affect our experience. We were greeted by a very pleasant woman who explained the construction and the limited tasting area. The sav blanc they started us off with was nice and refreshing. Then a gentleman showed us around the grounds. It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon. He was... More

This was one of my favorite stops on our wine tour. We got to sample 7 different wines and all were delicious. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this winery because you get a chance to try wines that are not readily available in stores. We will come back to this vineyard.

Fantastic smaller winery with excellent combination of top notch wine and a fun tasting experience. If Jim happens to be working, we would advise tasting with him as he was such a great source of information about the wines and the area, including restaurants and other experiences (as well as being a fun guy). Jim, the winery, and all staff... More

It seems like they rely on their reputation for good wine. What they fail to realize is that some people want/need to be given an explanation\education on "their" wines & what sets them apart from the other 740 wineries in Napa. Screaming Eagle they are not. Hall is definitely a better bang for your buck & their wines are better... More
