if i have to make an appointment for a tasting i expect more. no one working there seemed to be having a good day. service was lackluster and our "wine spokesperson" spent all of 5 minutes total with us. compounding that was the fact that we paid $20 for a "charcuterie plate for 2+ people" that consisted of 4 thin... We had tastings that were booked in two other vineyards prior to our tasting at Duckhorn, so maybe we were set up for something good. We drink Duckhorn wines fairly regularly and my husband really wanted to visit the winery. First impression, the women at the front desk who was checking us in had a poor attitude and was totally... We always come to Duckhorn when in the area and it's just amazing! We were seated promptly upon arrival at 11:00am. It gets busy here and reservations are recommended. The staff is all courteous and wines exceptional! The grounds are pristine! I highly recommend this must see vineyard!

The vineyard is tucked away at the corner of the Silverado trail and Lodi Lane. The grounds are beautiful and worth lingering in. We went early in the day to beat the crowds, which was a wise choice. The selections were top notch. As expected the Duckhorn Merlot was spectacular. But what surprised was how good the Cabs were. Also,... More

We went with friends who are wine club members. The only difference between the wine club tasting and the normal paid tasting, as far as I could tell, was that wine club members get a small portion of Cabot cheddar to go with their tasting. I don't drink red (migraines), and the staff person helping us, Jim, was certainly willing... More

The grounds were so cute and welcoming, it looks like a house you see in the south, so cute. We felt so welcomed, the tasting was great. Our friends loved it so much they joined the wine-club.

We visited many wineries this weekend, some in Sonoma and some in Napa. The Sonoma wineries seem to want to please you more and they really show you they want your business. We went to Duckhorn ( $30.00 per person tasting ) I am a wine club member so the fee was waived for myself and my guests. The service... More

Without a res, you are welcome to have a small pour of an open bottle and shop in their retail shop (clothing, hats, etc.). It is certainly in a beautiful location. I wouldn't include this one on my next trip.

What a beautiful winery. From the charming building and grounds to the outstanding wine. This was one of our favorite stops after visiting 6-8 wineries over a 2 day period. Put it on your list to see for sure.

This winery doesn't do tours, but the tasting is very comfortable, informative, organized, and most importantly tasty. The aesthetics of the landscape are incredible. There is a beautiful garden right by the tasting area. The same center is a classical Southern style with a nice wide covered porch with ceiling fans. One bonus of the tasting is they give you...
