I first visited this winery in August of 2013. At that time, their tasting room was in, well, a trailer home of sorts. It was a very small space and even a little run-down, but the wines made all the difference in the world. I had a Zin that was so delicious it is now my favorite varietal. Our hostess... More

What a beautiful interior winery which is hidden from the highway. What makes this place even more charming is the warm welcome from Brian Y. who gives the history Of Charles Krug Winery. There's a large lovely area for wine tasting whether standing at the bar or sitting in the over-sized comfortable chairs in the atrium.

We were recommended to visit this winery by the concierge at our hotel in Napa and I am delighted we dropped by. Really informative and very knowledgeable staff made the experience worthwhile and we bought a few special bottles to take home and they made it! Looking forward to drinking them soon.... Thank you

This newly renovated oldest winery that goes back to 1870's survived the earth quake damage confined to shaking glass. This visit fascinating. Lighting is Russian buoy cut in half hoisted in position by three men. Walls are repurposed barns. Cabernet Sauvignon is specialty of this winery. Return? Yes. Recommend? Yes.

The staff was friendly and courteous and that's important to us. After reading the book "House of Mondavi", I wanted to see this historical winery in person. It was a good experience. The wine is good. Nice staff. Large tasting room. Everything looks new. I was disappointed that there was no gift shop. I did purchase a few coasters. I'll... More

I cannot even describe the experience I had at this winery. We had a food and wine pairing. So outstanding. The chef spent time talking with us about the scrumptious food and the wines (also scrumptious). The whole experience was so wonderful that no one else even compared, and we had other great tastings. This place was a rock star... More

Had a fantastic wine tasting here today with Gerlinde in their new tasting room which is beautiful. Excellent wines and very friendly atmosphere. In July they will start having small plates of food to offer. I highly recommend a visit here when you are in the wine country, you will not be disappointed!

A lovely setting, a beautiful building. The oldest vineyard in napa, with some lovely wines. The staff were very informative and friendly, and served us some great wines.
