Had a fantastic wine tasting here today with Gerlinde in their new tasting room which is beautiful. Excellent wines and very friendly atmosphere. In July they will start having small plates of food to offer. I highly recommend a visit here when you are in the wine country, you will not be disappointed!

A lovely setting, a beautiful building. The oldest vineyard in napa, with some lovely wines. The staff were very informative and friendly, and served us some great wines.

The newly remodeled redwood building (stone outside, redwood inside) is now open and the old trailer style tasting room has been demolished. It is now a modern experience with old world charm rivaling the best tasting rooms in Napa. You can choose any of 3 different tastings based on the wines you like and the money you are willing to... Since it's located on the roadside I'd definetely drop by for a visit and some pictures in the the wineyards and among the row of olive tres. Beares of the high prices in the shop, though.

We just drove up Napa Valley and just picked a Vineyard at random because there are LOADS to choose from, and we chose this one. They are self confessed to be the oldest vineyard in the valley, having started in 1872. They grounds are impressive and when we got there the lovely lady said they do not do tours, but... More

We booked an end of day tasting pretty last minute. We arrived and we were quickly welcomed and our tasting started right away. Great info from our server... Very knowledgable. We really liked most of the wines... Even the port, which is not a typical choice for us. The new tasting room was also very nice. We will visit again.

Our group had a tour of the Traditional Home 2013 Decorator Show house on the grounds of Charles Krug Winery. What made the tour special is the fact that the house was built by the Mondavi Family, and is still used by the family as a guest house. The Mondavi family grew up in the house and one of the... We dropped in (the only winery this trip) so dad could learn more about CA wine - the server was to busy to do anything but pour. We enjoyed the Zin, the rest left us unimpressed. We will leave this off our next tour.

This is the oldest winery in the Napa Valley and very nice. Our tasting hostess was very knowledgeable about the wines as well as the area. Like most wineries these days they do charge for their tastings, but they have several different price ranges so you can taste wines depending on what you can afford. As we were getting ready... Highly recommended and we can see why, nice winery in a nice setting. We arrived late in the afternoon and it was nice, as it was relaxed with very few guests. Friendly staff poured several wines for us to taste. We liked several but we loved the chocolate port.
