Although we were at the end of a long day of wine touring, We quickly realized that Hector, of American VIP tours had saved the best for last. He introduced us to Richard, son of the owner, raconteur, and winemaker extraordinaire! He led us through a flight of reds, unlike any other we had tasted. All created with his personal... More

We enjoyed this vineyard the most of any visited! Very small and hands on, we got to go out into the vineyard and help with the "crush." Also, the guys that run this place are so fun and entertaining. Oh ya, great wine, too!!!

We visited this place with a wine tour and I wish I could go back. It is a small winery and it shows in their wines. The wines were the best that I tasted during the tour. The tasting guide was an engaging man, with what I consider to be nice California humor. We also had the great opportunity to... More

The last stop on our winery tour yesterday (July 12th 2014) was at the David Fulton Winery. By this time we'd already bought enough wine and had no intention of buying any more. However, this soon changed when we started tasting their wines. But I'm getting ahead of myself. On arriving at the winery, we were greeted by our host... More

This little hidden treasure of a winery was simply wonderful. It seems to be a little further out from the other touristy wineries which I like and the wine was very good. Though small, it was quaint and was very beautiful. We were privvy to tasting a new red they were getting ready to premier and ended up buying half... More

Did a guided tour with platypus Tours ( they are awesome by the way). The bow tie wearing former cruise ship dancer was hilarious. Has us all laughing and at the same time teaching. Quiana location. Met the wine maker. Nice guy. Proud products. We would recommend and have bring a lunch to enjoy in the deck.

Today we visited this vineyard winery and were pleasantly surprised to be served by the current owner Fulton I Mather at our tasting. This very pleasant gentleman of course was a wealth of information and our very casual tasting of four wines included a family history and photo album of very old family photographs. My wife and I cannot be... More

This is the oldest family winery in Napa Valley. We got to meet the owner, and he was really funny. The grounds are gorgeous, bring your camera. Great winery for Napa.

We rode the silverado trail through Napa valley, enjoying the beautiful scenary of the many, many wineries. We thoroughly enjoy a good Sirah wine and based on the earlier recomendations on tripadvisor we headed straight to David Fulton's winery. This place is not run down by tourists (yet) and you don't feel that you are 'processed' through an experience. The... More

This is a wonderful winery that isn't as well known so it tends to not be crowded. We were introduced to it last year as part of a Platypus tour and had to visit again this year. I believe that tasting is by appointment only but they are very easy to work with on finding a good time. I think... More
