Our party of four booked the Quintessa Experience on the recommendation of a friend and are very glad we did. The facility itself is stunning, and we started with some sauvignon blanc there before piling into a dune buggy with our guide, Eduardo, and heading up a very steep track to the tasting room. The view is spectacular in and... More

We love Quintessa wine and have very fond memories of the special location of this superb winery. We stopped by today to quickly observe the on-going harvest operation and to sip a wee bit of the 2011 release; the product seemingly gets better each and every year!

This winery was recommended by a friend but the experience was quite ordinary. The private tour was not much of a tour. We simply looked at the vineyard from a hill for 2 minutes and then went into the processing area which was more or less the same as everywhere else. The guide kept asking the same questions trying to... More

My boyfriend, a true collector, has many bottles of Quintessa in his collection and has been trying to convert me from my usual Syrah and Pinot to true Cabernet. I booked the Quintessa Experience which at $125 a person may have seemed extravagant but it was very enjoyable. The winery itself is gorgeous. Vast vineyards and a lake along with... More

We visited 15 vineyards on our trip to Napa in June. Without a doubt this was our favorite. The host was fantastic. The views were amazing, as was the wine cave. The tasting was nicely paced and we never felt under pressure to purchase the wines. Of course, the wine itself was spectacular. This is 1 of only 2 or... More

For some reason, they "lost" our reservation even though I had an email confirmation and kept showing it to the manager.. They refused to honor it, and said we could come back in three days or something ridiculous, at some heinous time such as 9 or 10 am. RUDE!

We had a private tour here and it was really nice. Our guide was awesome, a wealth of knowledge. The tasting was amazing and the wine here is just wonderful!

We recently toured this place with 3 other couples. The winery couldn't be more picturesque! Do yourself a favor and take the tour of the vineyard. It's one of the best views in Napa! Our tasting was the vertical variety, and we tried the 2008. 2009 2010, and the just-released 2011. It was really interesting to see how the flavors... More

Very nice hosting on a rear to find all natural estate. Holistic approach to grape care makes that bio-dinamic wine a unique one. Worth visiting in any case if you like the wine or not.

Ask for David, the manager, he is absolutely hands down the perfect host. Very informative, a gentleman, and very attentive. I have been drinking Quintessa since the late 90's, and we were able to taste 4 different years, my favorite and believe to be the most similar to when Quintessa first became noticed, is the 2010. Perfect smooth balance, and... More
