We had a lovely experience during our recent visit to Quintessa. The wines were quite good, and we enjoyed the hike and views from the hilltop. The tasting was enjoyable, as well. Recommend it? Indeed, I do! Be sure to bring your wallet because you'll want to take some home!

Truly enjoyed the experience at Quintessa. Our hostess was very friendly and knowledgable about the wines here! We enjoyed a white wine while walking to the hill top to survey the vineyards and once there, were not disappointed with the view. Quintessa has a beautiful property off the Silverado Trail! We tasted the 2009, 2010, & 2011 Cabernet and it... More

Wine tastings are meant to be for tastings, so don't expect huge pours. This winery focuses on one wine which gives the reason to why it is good. The view over the mountains looking over the vineyard and lake is breath taking especially on a clear sky day in March. The architecture of the estate has been rebuilt making it... More

This visit used to be great with generous pours and tasty bites. Now for $75 there are tiny pours three bites of cheese and polite but superficial descriptions. Will certainly take them off our recommendation list. Go to Pride or Spring Mountain or so many others who offer value enthusiasm and expettse

Great tasting! Beautiful setting, vineyards and winery. Very friendly and informative staff. Very nice selections of wines to taste, I will definitely be ordering more. Highly recommend you visit for the experience and the wine.

We came for business, and we're pleased with the results! Our guide, Joe took us on a hike to the beautiful property, spoke knowledgeably about the wines, property, and effects of Mother Nature with a passion for the grapes, the owners, and their beliefs in doing it right! We toured the facility, caves, & ended with a fabulous tasting! Joe... More

This was the highlight of our trip to Napa Valley. I didn't know anything about Quintessa before we arrived. Someone else had made the reservations. It isn't the normal tasting and costs a bit more, but it is very much worth the money. If you have an interest in wine and are at all curious about the process from more... More

Ok I'll admit it, I usually go to the places where you can get a free tasting if you buy a bottle, and rub shoulders with some tourists that smell of suntan lotion. This was very different! The entire experience is there to focus on the wine...very personal, private, almost secluded. Our host Mo really described the spirit of the... More

This is a beautiful vineyard that makes amazing wines. Its not cheap or for tourists, but if you know wine and want to try something that stands out, its a great tour and tasting. Make a reservation. I rate it in my top 5 in all of Napa (out of more than 30 tours done)

We opted for the estate wine tour which consisted of a private wine tasting in a beautiful small wine tasting room overlooking the vineyard. Included in the tasting were not only the current vintage, but also library vintages so we could compare the effects of aging on the estate wines. The tour also included a meat and cheese platter to... More
