Great wine, great service, beautiful tasting room. It wasn't too busy when we were there, which was really nice. They don't have the beautiful vineyard views since they don't grow the grapes on site, but the experience was amazing. I can't wait to go back!!

Very nice building and displays but this was not one of our favorites. Very friendly staff and the tasting were just a bit expensive. Did not think this one would be one that we would taste at, saving the tasting for another place.

Merryvale is an attractive spot to stop at. The staff member who helped us in the tasting room was excellent, as was the wine itself. We immediately bought several bottles as the room was closing. But we had an excellent visit even though it was short!

I decided to visit this winery after sampling some of the Starmont affiliate's wine at restaurants back home on the East Coast. My first reaction walking into this winery was that the appearance and layout was very inviting and very well designed. The tasting room manager (I can't remember his name) was very welcoming and got us seated and started... More

My husband and I visited the Merryvale tasting room on a brief stop in St. Helena, and I'm so glad we did! One of the best tastings we had while visiting wine country. The tasting room felt a little dungeon-y (hence the "secret society" feel. But definitely not a bad thing! The staff was wonderful as well. I would definitely... More

My wife and I had our wedding here on 12-28. Though we had an outside planner take care of a lot of the details and the restaurant (Tra Vigne) next door cater the food, the cask room and staff were super kind. The room was beautiful and the wines were dynamite. My guests, wife and I loved every second of... More

The wines at Merryvale are absolutely divine. My favorites are the Oak Knoll Cab and Merlot. Both have very good price points.. Keegan is a great host! The Schlatter family is a Swiss family with deep winemaking roots. Stop by during your visit in Napa Valley!

We went there as a part of our Platypus wine tour, and tasted 6 wines (white and red included) - awesome collection and Mark was an amazing host. We also had a complete tour of how wines are made and stored, the steel containers, the oak barrels, how and from where grapes are procured, and how wines are aged. The... More

I've done a lot of wine tasting in Northern Michigan and Italy, but this was my first trip to Napa. My mom and I took a day-trip up to Napa and St Helena just for a fun girls day! And while we both like to drink wine, we're certainly not connoisseurs. I was surprised that the tasting was $30 (which... More

In the 4 days we spent in Napa this was the ONLY lousy experience. Yes the Pinot Noir is amazing, sadly, the customer service is not. I have visited 3 times on 3 different trips to CA. The first we received excellent service (due to a prearranged visit from a wine distributor friend) --that was about 6 years ago. 3... More
