I attended UC Berkeley from 1953-1959 and made frequent visits to the Napa Valley. This winery was always the most hospitable and in my experience one of the most ethical. I owe much of my wine knowledge to their venerable winemaker of those days, Giulio Battistuzzi. I live in Miami now but find their wines here in many supermarkets. Their... More

Perfect first tasting room to visit! Our tasting menu started with a rose, which was ideal for a Monday morning visit. I appreciated how low key sitting at the bar was here, and it helped to prep us for a day of tastings. We bought two of the deeper reds offered from the tasting and only wish we could drink... More

This is one of the wineries we visited during our tour of Napa and Sonoma. Is one of the owner wineries and is definitely a place you should visit. It is primarily a red wine winery. It has a beautiful courtyard with a lovely wall that is obviously grown vegetation for years and years and gives a great backdrop to... More

My favorite new winery. My niece is in the industry, so we had an inside tour of the facility. After tastings, I came home and purchased more! It was incredible.

We loved this intimate winery, and enjoyed all the wines we sampled. It is a beautiful setting and we think it is a must visit winery. Their pours were of good size and they let is share a tasting because at that point since one of us was driving it was necessary, lol!

Both the staff and the wine here are fantastic! If you're a fan of big reds-- I highly recommend this place! I've been enjoying this place for almost 15 years now!

This is not among the popular places in the valley for wine tasting, but we came here because we like their Cabernet Sauvignon. The tasting is in the outdoor seating area and was low-key and relaxed. Our server was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. A surprise find here was a rosé made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It is a good... More

Lovely delicious wines!!! So good! We sat outside and she came to us when we were done with our glass. A lovely pairing cheese plate and a relaxing place to be. It was heaven! We will go back again and again!

There prices for Cabernet Sauvignon range from around $20 to $85 and up. I usually choose the wine tasting option that lets you taste one or more of their under $40 Cabernet Sauvignon wines. These are the Alexander Valley, Sonoma County and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The expensive Cabernet Sauvignon is very good, but out of my price range. There... More
