Great drive up and beautiful grounds. Tour was great as are the wines! Visited in April and I was glad to have a jacket...part of the tour is outside and it is windy up there. But if you forget a jacket, the winery does have some red ones on hand.

The drive up to the winery is great fun, and beautiful as you drive through woods filled with Spanish Ivy-laden craggy trees. You really have to downshift to get up the hills. The building in which the winery is housed as a beautiful wooden masterpiece. Our guide was Diana. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The wines were good. I... More

This place is a must go! Thank to Candice and her wonderful team for showing us a wonderful time and giving us a perfect tour of the property and the lovely history that went along with it. As much as places like to talk about the wine, its the family that makes the wine that makes it truly special. When... More

Beautiful winding roads take you to this lovely vineyard with the most breathtaking views. The wine is great and the tour is informative. Would love to visit again.

Diane was our tour guide and she was genuinely amazing. We were the youngest couple in our group and she made us feel welcome. It was our first time in Napa we visited over 25 wineries and at the end of our trip my wife and I decided that this one was our favorite. The wines are excellent and the... More

Chappellet is a hidden gem of Napa Valley. I always encourage visitors to the region to explore places off the beaten path; route 29 and the Silverado trail host most of the big guys, and you should definitely pay a visit to places like Mondavi, Krug, Nickel and Nickel, and so on. But the real magic happens in the surrounding... More

Not easy to get to on Pritchard Hill but so worth the time. The beautiful builings and lovely winery. The wines are made with passion and skill by generations of the Chappellet family. You wont be disappointed with any of their wines.

It was a pleasant experience but I didn't feel like we got to experience the true Chappellet due to the construction that was going on outside. It would have been a beautiful setting had there been no construction. The hostess did a great job of going through the history of Chappellet and explaining the different wines to us. If you... The story behind Chappellet wines would be enough to warrant a tour. The setting is beautiful and the tour was personable and fun. And the wines are truly lovely.

We had an excellent tasting with Amy, who is friendly and knowledgable. . Loved the wine (and the wonderful chocolates at the end). Hard to find...you drive up a long windy road and when you think you passed it, keep going and eventually you see signs pointing the way. Make reservations for the tasting. You won't be disappointed.
