Just leaving Del Dotto winery where we've done a wonderful and educational wine tasting. To have the same wine aging in American versus French barrels and taste the difference is quite an experience. To add to the experience, we had the pleasure of Tim Leonard as our host. (Request him. It is worth it). He is knowledgeable, pleasant, professional and... More

Recently came here for cave and barrel tour and wow was it incredible. This place has a very different feel than the rest of the vineyards we visited in the Napa area. I felt like i stepped inside an Italian museum. Although for some it may seem 'over the top' experience you cant argue that their wines are SUPERB and... More

We planned ahead and reserved the food and wine tasting. so glad we did. Definitely a must try. Private dining upstairs with chef ( ex chef from french laundry) table set for queens. Loved every minute of. Owner of winery came to join us. Our host eric was lovely. The chef prepared special menus for two friends with gluten allery... More

I live in the bay area, but almost everytime I visit Napa I stop by Del Dotto. The wine is really amazing, but the cave tasting and tour is just over the top. First off, this is a barrel tasting and cave tour. You are tasting wine that has not been bottled yet. You will have a chance to purchase... More

We spent the weekend in Napa and visited several wineries. While we enjoyed several of the other wineries, Del Dotto really distinguished itself. Our "consultant" Tim lead us through 10 different barrels tastings explaining the nuances of each. We were able to compare the same wine aged in French Oak and American Oak barrels. It was amazing to taste the... More

I was very reluctant to spend $60 (per person) for a wine and cave tour. However, I would do it again in a flash..... This place is so beautiful, you feel like you are in a grand place with no one else around... Steve, our "person" from Del Dotto, did an amazing job taking us through the wine processes and... More

This was our 3rd visit to Del Dotto in St. Helena and enjoying the cave tasting and tour. Our guide was Brandon (our second time with him), who is simply amazing! So honest and informative. The wines seem to get better with each visit we make to Del Dotto and this time I went with no intention of purchasing more... More

We visited the winery in February 2015 and was very excited to do the barrel tasting here. The setting was really beautiful, being a fan of Venetian style. The wines were good, not outstanding though. The only drawback I can say was the guide(s) who were less than friendly. Not a biggie, but I would not have to return to... More

I visited Del Dotto with very little knowledge of Wine. There was a tour, wine tasting, and education. Our chaperone was very knowledgable and friendly (great sense of humor), the wine tasting and socializing was fun, the conversation was on point, and I learned a ton about Cabernet Sauvignon. I left only a little drunk but I'd definitely recommend this... More

This place was our first visit and it wowed us. The place is beautiful and the only place that took our tastings right from the barrel. Tour guide needed to talk about wines a bit more he was chatty about a lot of subjects. Dried meats and cheeses afterwards, would have been better during. Red wine was great and the... More
