Pretty vineyard and not stuffy at all. A great time for all. Nice wine!!! We bought a few bottles. Nice host and we actually had wine from the barrels. A beautiful setting too! I will return!!

After parking our vehicle we approached the small unpretentious building and followed directions to their tasting room situated a level below, down an outside staircase. Upon opening the doors what we saw was completely unexpected. The over the top authentic Venetian theme of the reception area was breathtaking. The marble columns holding up the vaulted ceilings surrounded by beautiful artwork,... More

I loved the barrel tasting, great wines, learned a ton from our guide Eric who did a great job! Did not love the Glammy marble, and velvet decor everywhere, little too much for what I think of finding in Napa, and this is just a tasting room, no wine made here, must be down the road at their other location... We had visited Del Dotto in Napa the last time we were in Napa and enjoyed it. The location in St. Helena was a very over the top, Vegas type of atmosphere. While the cave tour was ok, it was expensive. It cost $60 per person or $120 for my wife and I together. The problem for me is that... More

We had been to quite a number of wine tours, but this one was one of the best. A man made cave that was chipped out by hand with picks and shovels sets the atmosphere. Our guide was Brad Parker, who was extremely knowledgeable with all aspects of the wine world, and truly a pleasure to be with. He taught... More

My wife and I learned about this winery from a seat mate on our flight to San Francisco to visit Wine Country. After we arrived in Napa, we quickly booked the St. Helena Estate Cave Experience & Barrel Tasting. This was a delightful experience! We were greeted with Italian music, mosaics, and decor. We started with a glass of Cabernet... More

If you've ventured through Wine Country, you know that sometimes wineries can blend into one another: A walk through a maze of stacked barrels, a little chit-chat, followed by a stop at a tasting room where you can fill out a sales sheet and fork over your credit card. NOT SO, at Del Dotto. This is a truly unique experience... More

If you like used car salesmen, you will love this place. There was very like education on how they make their wines or history of the winery. They laid on the sales pitch from start to finish. The $60 cave tour is nothing more than a tasting behind a curtain. The cave is really just hallway behind the curtain. You've... More

The cave tour was AMAZING. Beautiful winery, fabulous wine, and our host, Adam, was hilarious. His sarcasm and wit went perfectly with our family's humor. He also taught us a lot about wine. Comedy and education- the best tour I've ever been on. Be prepared to spend some dough but it is worth every penny! It is the best tasting... More

I thought twice about writing another review for Del Dotto, because I did not want everyone to buy all their wine and leave less for me! But once again Del Dotto blew the cork out of the barrel! This was my second time visiting Del Dotto in Napa/St Helena, and once again the wines, the place, the experience, and the... More
