High end experience with a high end price.

This is not your usual Napa wine tasting experience. You'll taste boutique wines made in the Italian tradition way. Make sure you know what the tour times before you arrive.

So we loved the cave/barrel tour. The venetian decor was beautiful and striking. Loved the environment. We tried wines straight from the barrel (don't worry it was completely sanitary) and had wines that we'd never try anywhere else...most over $100/bottle if you bought them. Alexander was our guide today and he was great...put up with a bunch of rowdy east... More

We understand they have awesome tours here but we just stopped by for a tasting. Brandon was fantastic, lovely wines and presentation. Tasting room is like walking into a venue in Venice, a really great stop in NAPA !

The cave tour is very educational and the leaders are typically very generous with their samples. Excellent wines. The winery with caves in St. Helena is much more scenic than the winery in Napa. This is a great spot to cap your day of tasting.

Had a wonderful tour of the cellars with Ed. Barrell tasting was very interesting and informative and a lot of fun. We learned a lot about how barrels are made and what types of wood and the makers. Very interesting to do side by side tasting of same wine in different barrels. We really enjoyed meeting and having fun with... More

If you are visiting Napa Valley for the first time, this is not your typical wine tasting. This is more like a frat party and try not to over-buy or you will wake up the next morning and feel like you have been taken advantage of. The wine is fine, but you need to pace yourself.

Just leaving Del Dotto winery where we've done a wonderful and educational wine tasting. To have the same wine aging in American versus French barrels and taste the difference is quite an experience. To add to the experience, we had the pleasure of Tim Leonard as our host. (Request him. It is worth it). He is knowledgeable, pleasant, professional and... More

Recently came here for cave and barrel tour and wow was it incredible. This place has a very different feel than the rest of the vineyards we visited in the Napa area. I felt like i stepped inside an Italian museum. Although for some it may seem 'over the top' experience you cant argue that their wines are SUPERB and... More

I live in the bay area, but almost everytime I visit Napa I stop by Del Dotto. The wine is really amazing, but the cave tasting and tour is just over the top. First off, this is a barrel tasting and cave tour. You are tasting wine that has not been bottled yet. You will have a chance to purchase... More
