As a specialist in Cabernet Sauvignon, each vintage the winemaking staff crafts 15 distinct Cabernet blends which demonstrate the unique characteristics and diversity of the Napa Valley. Their highly rated wines have included the 2008 'Kathryn Hall' Cabernet Sauvignon selected as Wine Spectator's #2 wine in the world in 2011, the 2010 'Exzellenz' which received 100 points from Robert Parker in 2013, and the 2006 'Exzellenz' selected as Wine Enthusiast's #1 wine in the world in 2009. HALL's Napa Valley estate vineyards are Certified Organic and employ cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes. In addition, the HALL St. Helena winemaking facility was the first LEED(R) Gold Certified Winery in the State of California, making HALL Wines a pioneer in the use of green buildings in the wine industry. The site maintains one acre of solar panels on its roof and uses 100% recycled water throughout its processes. Each of HALL's spectacular winemaking facilities, HALL St. Helena and HALL Rutherford, showcases installations from the Hall family's extensive modern art collection. « less

Just looked for the bunny along the highway and you will easily find the entrance. There is an amazing collection of art both inside and outside. The tasting room experience is very relaxed with friendly knowledgeable staff. There is a seating area outside to relax, enjoy some wine and enjoy the view.

Couldn't have asked for a better wine. I enjoy their employees, the tasting room, and everything else about Hall / Walt Winery!

The Hall Winery has a fabulous contemporary art collection and an beautifully architected Gold Leeds facility. If you are looking for a venue for a special event, they have a ton of options. They offer a lot of different delicious wines.

A "Crazy good cabs" sign drew me in because that is my favorite type of wine! The grounds and new facility are beautiful - a must see when you are in the area!

I am not much into modern stuff usually but I was very impressed by the recently opened Hall St. Helena Winery. Very well laid out ground and building an absolute green construction and operation with pricey artwork inside and out. The technology is also unique. They scan and check each grape and only use the ones that meat the criteria.... More

Hall Winery is spectacular. It is a very classy place with incredible atmosphere, great wine, breath taking art and friendly people. Plan to spend some time here because there is so much to see. If you call ahead and book a private tour you will be blown away with the "secret" art around the property. It is reminiscent of an... More

I visited the new updated tasting room at Hall and was completely blown away by the new facility. It is fantastic and kudos to Hall for building it. My wife and I requested the standard tasting and were impressed with the quality of all of their wines. The best part to me was to work with the host and express... More

We were blown away by the wine and the architecture of the winery. What a beautiful place! Hall makes wonderful red wines, so if you are a fan of really good red wine and beautiful art and architecture be sure to visit Hall.

The facility and tour are top-notch. We had a private tasting room with food pairings that were amazing. The beyond beautiful chandelier in the tasting room was phenomenal. But we are there for the wine...not the art.

I can't recommend enough the private tour to taste the special cabs. The grounds and the art are nice, but when folks are traveling from thousands of miles away they are typically there for the wine. It would be nice to have the option to spend more time in the tasting room and less time taking the tour. I appreciate... More
