As a specialist in Cabernet Sauvignon, each vintage the winemaking staff crafts 15 distinct Cabernet blends which demonstrate the unique characteristics and diversity of the Napa Valley. Their highly rated wines have included the 2008 'Kathryn Hall' Cabernet Sauvignon selected as Wine Spectator's #2 wine in the world in 2011, the 2010 'Exzellenz' which received 100 points from Robert Parker in 2013, and the 2006 'Exzellenz' selected as Wine Enthusiast's #1 wine in the world in 2009. HALL's Napa Valley estate vineyards are Certified Organic and employ cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes. In addition, the HALL St. Helena winemaking facility was the first LEED(R) Gold Certified Winery in the State of California, making HALL Wines a pioneer in the use of green buildings in the wine industry. The site maintains one acre of solar panels on its roof and uses 100% recycled water throughout its processes. Each of HALL's spectacular winemaking facilities, HALL St. Helena and HALL Rutherford, showcases installations from the Hall family's extensive modern art collection. « less

Wide range of tour options (escalating prices) to fit most desires and available time. Allowed to walk the grounds and enjoy the valley atmosphere. Interesting stick huts made from old vines. Wines tasted were good at reasonable prices. Stainless steel rabbit off Hwy 29 is impressive. Modern facilities quite a departure from some of the vintage facilities we've toured this... More

Attended a tasting at this newer winery. Beautiful art throughout. A lot of history. Wines are nice. Really nice tour of the property. Just can't explain it- you have to experience it.

A friend recommended we visit Hall winery and we are thrilled we did. Steve was our tour guide and did an amazing job (and he'd only been there less than 1 year). He educated us on Kathryn and Craig Hall and their impact on Sonoma County and the wine region. The facility has a nice balance of historic and modern... More

The standard tour and tasting at Hall is $40 per person, and an absolute value. The property is a modernist sculpture garden with both contemporary and historic winery buildings. The experience is essentially like walking around a fine art museum with a drink in hand. Ben, our "wine educator" and guide, was exceptionally good at his job. The tour culminates... More

Another great winery. We arrived late in the day just before closing but tasted great wines and had a great view of the vineyards from the tasting room and were offered grapes to taste on the vines.

The Wine is outstanding. The winery has been modernized and expanded. The grounds are beautiful with lots of art including a large chrome bunny in the vineyard on the road. They specialize in red wines but their white wines are excellent too. The have kept the past alive with the resent restoration of one of the original buildings.

Just looked for the bunny along the highway and you will easily find the entrance. There is an amazing collection of art both inside and outside. The tasting room experience is very relaxed with friendly knowledgeable staff. There is a seating area outside to relax, enjoy some wine and enjoy the view.

The Hall Winery has a fabulous contemporary art collection and an beautifully architected Gold Leeds facility. If you are looking for a venue for a special event, they have a ton of options. They offer a lot of different delicious wines.

A "Crazy good cabs" sign drew me in because that is my favorite type of wine! The grounds and new facility are beautiful - a must see when you are in the area!
