Wines were delicious (had the sav blanc, cabernet, and super tuscan) and the tasting room had lots of old pictures of the family (young and old!) which I loved! .....took a bottle home and that was great too!

This one could have been skipped. . $15 pp for 3 very small pours and a quick 20-30 min walk through the vineyards. We sat outside in the rain and it just wasn't anything too special. The wines were just okay, nothing too exciting for us. There was only 1 person working the winery and he had to tend to...

We have been to Salvestrin winery about 4 times, and stayed in their Inn twice (once with our 2 children). Hands down this is my favorite winery in all of Napa (And I have been to Napa many times). It is a family owned, Estate grown winery with exceptional wines. Their Sauv Blanc and Cab have to be my favorites....

This place gave us a real feel of where we should eat, drink, and be merry! The mention of the lobster bake made our mouths water, and the opportunity to talk with the other people tasting and the lovely woman behind the counter who agreed to open up the Sangiovese because it was our honeymoon. Great trip.

I own a small, eco-friendly winery tour company in Napa and recently stumbled across Salvestrin Winery. Even though it's right on the main drag, Salvestrin has the feel of a winery that's well off the beaten path. And of course the wines are excellent. Oftentime there's a family member in the tasting room or outside gardening. And the new tasting...

Simply put, Salvestrin is the perfect antidote to an increasingly-commercial Napa Valley. At a time when most wineries however small they may appear are ultimately owned and run by giant conglomerates, Salvestrin is and has been family owned for going on three generations. What does this mean for you? A visit to Salvestrin will likely include a personal conversation with...

Salvestrin Winery was fantastic! Very down to earth. I loved being able to walk among the vines and sample the wonderfully sweet grapes. We did the "Lunch in the Vineyard" option which was so relaxing. The home-style lunch was delicious and to be able to eat lunch on the patio and enjoy the beautiful views of the vineyard and mountain...

Salvestrin Winery is a great, small family winery hidden in plain view off bustling CA-29. Blink and you might miss it, so I highly encourage you to not blink! The red and white wine selections offer tastes pleasing to all palettes. Their Cabernet Savignon is delicious! I bought multiple bottles and spurred me to join their wine club. Call ahead...

You don't feel as if you're in the napa valley hustle when you're here.
Apparently it's by appointment only which can be a great perk. booked an appointment on a Saturday and a couple was hanging out on the patio area as we were entering. They seemed happy and when asked how it was, they smiled and said perfect. So,...

Fantastic wines, beautiful vineyard, centrally located...what more could you ask for? Ever since I discovered this vineyard, I can't resist stopping by their tasting room on each and every trip I make to Napa. Wine enthusiasts beware...you'll be charmed and have to return for more! (They also offer great wine-club deals!)
