We toured Beringer during our trip to wine country in June. The grounds at Beringer were very nice. We did a tour that included going inside the Rhine House; we found that the inside was really just a gift shop; the history of many of the rooms inside the house is unknown. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and nice, but... more

I had been really looking forward to going here. It was the busiest winery we stopped at. We got no personal service/attention. We felt like we were in the way. I would not go back. The grounds are beautiful though, but I think we would have had better service somewhere else. more

Our favorite of the Napa Valley! We always start in the Old Winery Tasting room then wander the grounds as we walk down to the Rhine House to the Reserve Tasting. The staff is consistently very friendly and helpful - telling us about the various regions where each varietal is grown and answering our questions about the wine-making process. I... more

I went on this tour and tasting so that I could see the Historic House. I did not expect much from the wine. We all know that Beringer is known for their White Zin...however they have some great wines that are not sold in stores everywhere and they are outstanding wines. I was really impressed with the wines I tasted... more

The winery is indeed on beautiful grounds, the staff was friendly and helpful, their wines are good, but....for a $25 tasting fee you can taste better wine for a fraction of the price. I don't know how they get away with it, but if people are willing to pay it then I guess they can charge it. more

Beringer is situated on a large, beautiful well-maintained ground. We were able to walk through the gardens and since most people were crowded around the wine tasting area, we were able to enjoy a sense of solitude. We opted for the $15 tour and it was a great decision. Our tour guide was both informative friendly, and humorous, and he... more

Beringer is one of the best wineries to visit in Napa and Sonoma. It is very interesting to visit the wine caves, the staff are wonderful and the tastings delightful! The winery is also one of the prettiest in the valley. We visit every time we go to the wine country and never get tired of it! more

Took the $15 tour. Our guide was great. It wasn't really the season to see a winery but we still had a great time. The caves are very interesting. The wines to taste were very good and the finish with the Port and dark chocolate was superb! Well worth the visit. more

We visited four wineries in Napa, and Beringer was my favorite. Their staff is well educated and ready to answer all your wine questions...They are friendly and welcoming. The tour guide was funny and the tour itself was deeply enlightening. I learned so much about wine. The tasting was great, and the value was affordable. Plus, the winery itself is... more

The staff here was very thorough and friendly and took a lot of time with our small foursome to explain the nuances of our palates' interpretation of their wines. We all walked away with a better knowledge of our preferences and a memorable time spent at a beautiful winery. Recommended. more
