Snooty server! I just can't stand condescending servers, who are full of smiles and then literally turn their back on you. We practically had to jump up and down to get her attention. Being a special day for us (our 33rd wedding anniversary) we splurged to taste the select wines ($25). Honestly, the wines were not remarkable. You are offered... More

Gorgeous grounds (there was an acoustic guitarist there)--I suggest choosing a bottle of wine and some food from the marketplace and enjoying a picnic on the grounds. We did not take a tour but locals say it is the best. We purchased some wine that is not sold in stores and liked it much more than wines we were familiar... More

Years ago, we settled on Beringer's Gamay Beaujolais as our favorite any night wine for dinner. Fast forward a decade or two, the wine is discontinued, but the attraction of the vineyard remains. So when we were in the valley, we decided to stop and visit. Just like the local farms which branched out into tourist attractions, the Beringer mansion,... More

Our 1 year old wasn't horribly bored because they have a fabulous vineyard you can taste more than a dozen grapes in. She loved getting to pick them (we pulled skin off before she could taste). We loved getting to pick and taste! Tell your server what types of wine you like. They're more interested in having you taste what... More

Delicious winery, the preferred of my wife. The tour given was very educational and short, the tasting was very good, we love everything about it.

The wines of Beringer are favourites in our house so it was only fitting that we visit the vineyard when we were in North Cali. It is a beautiful place full of history. We took the full tour which did not disappoint!! For those wine connoisseurs Beringer vineyard is not to be missed!

My husband and I enjoy Beringer's wine on occasion. It's good cheap wine from the grocery store. The winery is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful landscaping and historic buildings; however, we did not even taste here. You can get a bottle in the grocery store for $10 and their tasting fee for $20 per person.I would have paid $10, but not $20... More

This winery was really nice. It was a bit commercialized for my liking but I did learn a lot. I am inexperienced with wineries so I didn't have a lot to compare it to. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and competent. Our group had a really nice buffet lunch and we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. I must say the... More

We decided to stop at Beringer solely based on the beautiful grounds and building. We bought a tour and tasting, and frankly, since it's a big brand, I expected it to be canned and/or just more hype than substance. Instead, it was amazing. Our tour guide, Claire, should be training all other tour guides in the region. She was a... More

Jill greeted us at the visitor center and recommended an excellent tour. Paul, our guide, was the perfect blend of Engineer and Tour Guide. His knowledge and insight entertained and informed, introducing the rich history of the Beringer Brothers and their Vineyards. The three wines we tasted were very good and we purchased a bottle of each for gifts...ok, we... More
