For you winos out there, V. Sattui is worth, at least, one visit. Beautiful grounds and picnic area. Always something going on. Huge store and tasting area, which can get very crowded. VERY crowded. We stopped by for our 2nd visit here in June. It's a "fun place." And it's right across the street from one of the Wine Train... More

Deli and market were just what we were looking for in the middle of the day. Unfortunately, the bus tours were there also and the place is not set up well for the crowds. The food was good, but not worth the hassle if crowded.

A friend recommended we visit V. Sattui and we were so glad we did! It's such an interesting idea to combine a fresh providore with a winery ... essentially, you go around their shop, picking out whatever you want from their huge selection of cheeses, savouries, salads, meats and desserts then do a tasting to decide which wine you want.... Due to the beautiful surrounding vineyards and not to mention the great California weather, this is a very nice place to visit while in Napa Valley. The establishment provides a pleasant, fresh and open atmosphere with plenty of parking spaces. As we entered the deli and marketplace we marveled at the extensive variety of cheeses from all over the world... More

We did not to the tastings or tour, we stopped here for their incredible deli and for a picnic lunch! Beautiful for that and food was amazing. Very busy place! Not an intimate setting. But highly recommend grabbing lunch here!! Lots of picnic tables, but bring a blanket and find your own little quiet piece of paradise.

First time in Napa. I was told V sat is a must visit by some of my friends that live near Napa and visit quite frequently. I would not recommend it for first timers! It was a hot mess, there was a wedding going on so the back and picnic area was really crowded but so was the tasting room... More

Good lunch, love the deli inside the winery, but the tasting room is so busy that you do not get the knowledge of the wine. We waited about 5 minutes before we got notice ans then when we got notice the lady doing the tasting immediately ask for $10 up upfront, service was horrible just rush rush and get out... More

V Sattui is a very busy winery. We were able to walk right in and get a spot to try wines. We liked more wines here than any of our other wineries we tried. We also ate lunch there and had one of the best panini's we have ever had. Im still craving it now! The grounds are very nice... More

If you want a family friendly winery, this is the place. If you want wines that are somewhat different than some of the other stuff offered in the Napa Valley (some very decent white and sweet wines for example), this is a place to stop and have taste of a few wines. If you are looking for something small, quiet,... More
