Went here with friends today and had a personal-touch tour from the family-owned winery from Wendy. You can call ahead for schedule of the wine tour or walk in; we did at 10am. This winery that started in 1982, has been nurtured with care and love and you can see that in the way they treat the guest and the... More

The wines at Schweiger are above average and priced appropriately for their quality. The service was outstanding and felt at home at the winery. My wife and I enjoyed the tasting and afterwards sat outside and enjoyed a picnic with a view. Would recommend stopping in if you are going to Spring Mountain. Tasting was also reasonable and I believe... More

So I was googling vineyard tours during harvest season and came across Schweiger Vineyards. I saw that they were offering a nod fashioned barrel stomp which upon further reading sounded like a must do experience when in "wine country". I called because I had a few questions and the gentleman I originally spoke to was very nice and explained in... More

A beautiful, small winery with a fabulous view, friendly, knowledgable and very helpful staff. And did I mention that the wines were great and priced more fairly than some of the other wineries we visited. They seem to appreciate your visit and business...very refreshing! This winery was one of our favorites...and we visited 10.

i've name this review as such to help me remember which vineyard this was. There were some reallt lovely dogs here and some great people. We had a very informative tour of the property by a very helpful lady ("wendy" i think but apologies if wrong). We also got to meet Fred who was still very much working hard and... More

My girlfriend and I did a tasting at Schweiger, and I couldn't have been happier with our experience. The view was fantastic. Carly was a fantastic host, pouring wine and telling us about what we were drinking and about the vineyard itself. We sat on the terrace and didn't want to leave (fortunately we took some bottles home with us... More

This was our first tasting during our most recent trip to Napa. It's a little hike up Spring Mountain Road, but it's worth it. We were greeted by Wendy who brought us onto the terrace overlooking the beautiful vineyards. She poured us a glass of Sauvignon Blanc to start and gave both of us our own plate of cheese, salami... Stopped by after a visit to Pride and were overwhelmed. Carly provided an outstanding tasting experience, Fred Schweiger was kind enough to chat with us, and the wine was fabulous. One of our most memorable experiences in wine country.

Spring Mountain Reds are fairly equally delicious. So Schweiger stood out for the hospitality and the view. Nice pours, great conversation and beautiful wines. Fred Schweiger himself was on the premises to say hello. As others have noted - we did not have a reservation - but were warmly embraced. Go to Schweiger.

Stopped in without an appointment after visting Pride Mountain. It was close to closing, but Carly let us in. The wines were nice. The view was fantastic and the owner/winemaker seems like a heck of a nice guy.
