My wife and I dropped by Schweiger for a tasting in March 2013. We were the only tasters there, and got plenty of personal attention. Our pourer was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the tasting fee is waived with purchase of a bottle. We came away with some fantastic cabernet, and had a great time. Highly recommended.

The location is a bit remote but once you are there, the views and the hospitality are amazing. The wines are very nice as well.

Decided to visit Schweiger winery at the last moment after some plans became altered. Called the winery who were only too pleased to have the two of us visit, even though we were only providing 20 or 30 minutes notice. We are glad we made the decision because this winery was easily the most friendly and enjoyable of our entire... More

We loved our visit. The tasting room and view is beautiful. The atmosphere was quiet, welcoming, and friendly. The tasting experience was personable, gracious, and flexible to our interests. And we loved the wine! We will return.

Four of us visited the winery on February 23rd, 2013. We were greeted warmly by Carly who gave us the best personal attention of any winery we visited in the valley. Of course people go to wineries to taste wine and this wine was superb. We had not purchased any wine to date but the 5 wines we tasted along... More

Called in on a Tuesday Morning to see if they were taking walk ins. The response was "we'll make it work". After an exciting journey up the mountain, we snuck in the gate behind a UPS truck. Make sure you stop at the gate and call, even if it is open. We were the only two people there at the... More

Me and my wife did not visit that many vineyards in Napa. Our intention was higher but being there off-season, qiute a few of the smaller ones were open only by appointment. Schweiger was not on our list but when we crossed the Spring Mountain towards the Napa valley, this was acctually the first one that opened up for us.... More

Schweiger's family-run vineyard and winery is not to be missed on a trip to Napa and/or Sonoma county wine country. Spring Mountain is a terrific day trip away from the crowds and tours on the main strip (29) in Napa County. Almost all of Schweiger's wines are estate grown and bottled, and the tasting room is an intimate setting staffed... More

We were greeted by the family dogs. They are so cute. We had our large dog with us and they were very accommodating. The wine was delicious, and they shared stories that make it feel like you get to know the family. They all seemed to really enjoy what they were doing and the people they were with.

Thanks for the nice review and for your visit to the winery! We actually aren't dog friendly, but it happened to work out nicely the day that you came for your visit. Thanks again and we hope to see you back soon! More

I loved this place, it is off the beaten path, but well worth it! It is a smaller vineyard and family run. We enjoyed all the tastings from this winery, I joined their wine club (the only one I joined) and shipped bottles home. We met the wine maker Andy and their dogs upon arrival, and I thought that was... More
