CSUS or better known in Sacramento as "Sac State" has approximately 30,000 students Fall 2015. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for an institution of higher learning that you visit this university. I have been very impressed with the faculty and administration.

We visited Sacramento State University. When one arrives on campus, there is a visitor office to go to to ask questions about one's visit to the campus. This is a nice campus with an arboretum area, sports fields, campus education buildings, and so forth. There is also good public transportation to and from the University

The general education programs are diverse. Most programs in Humanity, English, Music, Languages are challenging. CSUS prepares many teachers, police training is well noted. The grounds are shaddy, and the atmosphere is quiet and studious. Library, in humanities is superior.Music programs and concerts are excellent

Got a tour of the campus from my son on the day of commencement. Fine atmosphere and lovely architecture.

The CSUS campus is like a park setting. The theater venues are great and the stadium comfortable. Plenty of food options but only Round Table pizza serves alcohol.

I am an alumni of CSUS though even if I were not, the same things would apply. This is one of the most beautiful campuses in Northern California. It is situated alongside the American River and Bike trail so the recreational possibilities abound. The campus itself has a lovely library and the theater productions are well done and worth supporting.... More

It is a good place to visit specially on weekends, or when school is out. It is a beautiful campus on the American River. If you park on the east side of campus you can walk up to the bike trail and walk along above the river. There are lots of squrrels on campus looking for a handout. During the... More

My sister attended Sac State and I frequently visited her on campus. The grounds are so beautiful, the gym is legit, and the roads around the campus are perfect for morning and afternoon runs because of how shaded the sidewalks stay from all the trees. So many people ride bikes and my sister and I would often bike to campus... More

I went to Sacramento state years ago, got my B.A there, but, have since returned with my younger sister and have to say, its a nice campus. Two roads go all the way around the campus. Parking is much better, and you can find parking structures or lots around most of the campus. They cost money to park. There are sooo... More
