This church is beautiful inside and surrounded by great places to eat and you can walk the capital. I would visit hear and the walk through the capital on your way to Crocker Art Museum. You can walk old Sacramento before or after.

The entire experience is just grand. Parking facility is located right next to the Cathedral. The dome is so impressive. The cantor was once of the best voices I have ever heard. It will do your soul good to go to Mass there. We had our son's wedding there and had been to it many times for other special masses... More

If you are in need of a contact with the divine, and are catholic enter, if you want to see how Sacramento's people made their cathedral enter, else just look at the façade and walk away.

The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacramento was refurbished several years ago. The outcome was absolutely amazing. I have had the opportunity to attend mass at this church several times even though I am not catholic. I found the building, the structure, the overall architecture and stained glass to be exceptional. They provide services in both Spanish and English and they... More

The masses are a joy, the priests are good speakers and people do not fall asleep when the sermon is going on.

It is a beautiful church, reminds me of a German church. A large nave and an impressive altar, wonderful artwork, stained glass windows and not to forget the impressive dome! Well worth a visit.

I attended Mass here while in Sacramento and found this beautiful church to be a truly uplifting experience. Taking in the wonderful art, stain glassed windows along with celbrating Christ is truly a blessing to behold! A must visit !

The condition of the building is excellent, the architecture is dominated by the style of the 1700 European churches, all of the main elements are present and easy to identify. I will probably go back any chance I can have while visiting Sacramento, it is very close to the Capitol building so if weather is good, it makes for an... More

When you walk in, you are greeted by fellow parishioners and also everyday tourists to the area. This cathedral sits on 11th and K Street, conveniently next to the public bus and light rail system. The renovations truly show all the beautiful artwork from this past century and great audio system when services are performed. Tours are operated at scheduled... More

The tour was really interesting and informative. The church itself is absolutely gorgeous. Even if you aren't religious, it's worth a visit. I am not of an organized religion myself, but my husband is Catholic, so we sat through a mass. It was so peaceful, and I felt so welcome by everyone there.
