The Delta area is a wonderful place to explore. Much of this area of canals and waterways were built by the Chinese laborers in the 1800s and some of their old original towns still exist along some of the Delta canals. Folks tend to miss this treasure. Be sure to see Locke, Rio Vista, Ryde and Walnut Grove. Have lunch or whatever at the Ryde Hotel where there are tunnels to escape the revenuers. Check out the wineries in Clarksburg. More
