Not sure why no one is giving this 5 stars but having played courses all over CA, NV, and AZ this is top of the list. This is a true gem hidden along the Sac Delta. Each hole is a tree lined oasis offering you complete solitude from all the other holes. The last course I played remotely comparable was... More

It's out of the way. On the river behind the airport. Some reachable par fives if you can hit a draw. Not a course for slicers. Though you will probably find a lot of balls while looking for your own. Not much of a restaurant, but practice area is good. Gotta try it at least once.

Fairly wide open course and greens and bunkers were in excellent shape when we played. On some holes if you hit it out of bounds, replay or drop. Will not be easy to find anything. Some very scenic holes and wildlife. We saw a fox on number 4 and that was pretty cool. Right by the airport so if you... More

Teal Bend is a great course to play, even for the beginner. The greens are well taken care of and the staff is very friendly. They being you a cart right to your car. One thing to note, especially in the summer months. Make sure to wear a lot of mosquito repellent. Mosquitos are everywhere and they will bite you... More

This is a well-maintained course that doesn't get as crowded as some of the other Sacramento courses. Plus, it has a couple of greens that will really test your putting abilities.

If you are in the Sacramento area and looking for some great golf at a reasonable price you must play Teal Bend. Located very close to the airport and downtown off the Garden highway and Sacramento River. It blends natural surroundings, interesting holes & layout all for a fair price. While the club house is standard for a public course... More

The course is in a nice setting with lots of mature trees, wetlands and wildlife. Better than most in the area, but weekend green fees are a little steep. Greens are well maintained and the layout is interesting and fairly challenging. A good choice.

I've played most public and private courses in the Sacramento region and feel that Teal Bend is definitely a cut above most courses open to the public and very much above those owned by the city and county of Sacramento. The course itself is a good test, depending on the tees from which you play. The course is playable in... More
