Classic-Style Buildings: Great for photography!

Check what's going on, because being a college campus means activities, etc.! Buildings (new and old) are styled after the 1960's!

Overall this is a good college considering its small size. It has enough good professors (not all) to do well and speed through ones education and get the necessary classes. The college is close to some really good restaurants, Starbucks, and the best doughnut shop in the Sacramento Region. Just with any college, Los Rios College District does have its... More

The classes never seem to have a wait time, and the bridge program they do with the local high schools is awesome.

I am a SCC Alum and I have attended both CSUS and UCD. I rate my education at SCC (a junior college) SUPERIOR to both. Any fool can teach out of a book. And if you go to Stanford, UCB or UCLA or UCD you will have an excellent chance of having a Grad Student teaching your class who can... More

Huge stadium, little parking, right off the highway, few open spaces, bad location for a powwow like they tried to host last year.

Budget cuts have killed SCC for the average person. The tuition is crazy for a community college and it is difficult to get the classes you want. For a person that just wants to take a couple of classes - forgetaboutit.
