It is the coolest park in Sacramento. In November, all the trees lining the street were covered in yellow foliage. Was really pretty. The rose garden was amazing. We also saw a lot of ducks and geese in the nearby pond.

Forget the great playground before the vandals torched it! This NEW playground is out of this world. Soft ground under the equipment, really a superb play place! There is a merry-go-round with spinners that I'd have loved to try but I didn't think a grandma should kick off a nine year old :~) There is also a garden, library, duck... More

Great place for family photos. Spot by the rose garden to smell the flowers. You will see lots of people running around the park, join in.

I grew up feeding the ducks and geese at the pond at McKinley Park, enjoying the rose garden in springtime, the Clunie Clubhouse for events, and simply admiring the gracious homes. There is a tangible sense of pride and a deep commitment by the resident's of this area that resonates with me. It is a park that is family friendly,... More

Nice place to bring kids or a date to feed the ducks or sniff in the rose garden. Good people watching, not too many street people. Easy parking within a couple of blocks.

This is a beautiful park in East Sacramento among beautiful older homes. The Rose garden is worth the trip alone, the grounds are well maintained for families with plenty of facilities.

Right out of a movie set. Family friendly, dog walkers, swimming pool, community center, tennis courts, rose garden, picnic areas and nice people. Lovely part of Sacramento.

McKinley Park always had a fun play area for kids, but someone decided to burn it all down not long ago. Instead of conceding defeat, local families got together and created the BEST playground area in Sacramento. Between that area, rich in creative activities, and the ponds full of ducks, geese, and turtles, it already holds many things to do.... More

Our niece held her wedding there on Labor Day weekend. It was a beautiful setting, surrounded by blooming roses. Very memorable.
