If you're in Sacramento and especially if you have young kids with you, you might as well include a day at Land Park. For one thing, there's enough grassy land for anyone to run off some steam. Then there's the Funderland with rides for little kids through elementary school age, and Fairytale Town, also for small children. But, the best... More

Very beautiful old park that includes a Fairy Tale Town for young children and a Zoo. The zoo is small and Fairy Tale town is for younger children but parking is free and the shade trees are plentiful. There is a lake with lots of ducks that provide a nice leisurely place to visit not too far from the freeway... More

I primarily visit the botanical garden when I come to William Land Park, which I try to make my way to every spring for all the new blossoms. It's very well kept and there's a really decent variety of species. If you go there often you might occasionally run into a gardener, especially in the fall when it's been raining... More

This is a great park with lots of things to do! Lots of fun activities for children with the zoo, Fairytale town, Funderland, pony rides duck pond ,and a huge play ground. The zoo is my favorite. It's just the right size for an afternoon visit.

Of all the parks in Sacramento, Land Park is the most packed with fun stuff to do with kids. In very close proximity (ie easy walking, even with kids!), there is the Sac Zoo, Fairytale Town, and Funderland amusement park. Each of them has many engaging activities for even the smallest kids. Our granddaughter is not quite 2, yet she... More

We love this park. It is great for families because there is a golf course, the zoo, fairytale town and an amusement park. This is also a great place for birthday parties.

I love to look at the ducks and the duck families! It's a family environment. The Sacramento zoo is just blocks away. Have a picnic at William Land Park and go across the street to Sacramento zoo. Have fun. Just becareful to go on a moderate weather day. It's not fun in 90+ weather unless you like to swelter.

Wm. Land Park has a really great zoo, very clean and well maintained. Additionally, the park has Fairy Tale Town which is loads of fun for little ones ages 2-8 yrs.. My 3 year old granddaughter loves to climb on the various attractions, run from exhibit to exhibit and pet the animals. Its very clean and well maintained also. Lastly,... More

This beautiful, shady park is well used by people of all ages and persuasions. Besides picnic areas and stocked fishing ponds, theres a golf course, an amphitheater, the Sacramento Zoo, Funderland amuseument park, Fairytaletown for tots. It's just south of downtown and in the center of the very desirable Land Park neighborhood.
