I'm not much of an auto buff but this museum has an excellent collection of vintage autos. Yes, it's quite warm but the huge fans do a passable job of keeping you cool. We didn't take a tour but wandered through the exhibit, which is quite large, reading the details about the cars that caught our eye. An interesting way... More

We walked over here and spent a couple of hours looking at the cars and exhibits. Really well laid out, plenty of information if you don't want a tour. So many cars spanning the years, and lots of American classics, even a pink Cadillac! Also a lot of extra car related memorabilia too.

Lots of classic cars. Well cared for, beautiful. A must see for all auto enthusiasts. You have a "photo opportunity" inside, which I took.

This was an amazing museum!! Beautiful cars and lots of history! We were a family with a 7month old. There is no ac, but there are fans and benches throughout the place. The restrooms are nice and they have a changing table for babies. Our guide was very helpful and knowledgeble about the cars, a nice gentleman by the name... More

I really like all types of cars and what is great about this collection (besides the sheer size of it) is that according to our docent, they are all operational. We saw a wide variety of mostly domestics, but not the typicals (beyond the Model Ts and As). I really liked seeing the Nash Metropolitan, DeSotos, a nice Edsel, and... More

There is a lot of free parking right across the street. It would be good if there were more benches or places to sit. The snack bar is small and it was hard to tell if it was even open when we were there. There is a small gift shop that is fun to browse. The collection is a bit... More

This is a nice collection of vintage vehicles. It's not huge but there are enough great old cars and a few trucks to make it worthwhile. It's just down the street from Old Sacramento. The $8 admission is reasonable. There are several set up for photo ops, you can sit in them. Worth a visit.

My husband and son are more interested in cars than I am, but even I enjoyed this museum on what was a very rainy day. Nice layout which takes you through the years of car development and trends of the time. I particularly liked one old car they had where you can sit in it - something I had never... More

This is a smaller museum but they have some great old cars. The volunteers that guide are a great help and will spend time with you and give allot of history if you like and they have the time. Very fun for car folks and inexpensive.
