Description: When Tony and Herta "H.B." Peju relocated to Rutherford from Los Angeles...
When Tony and Herta "H.B." Peju relocated to Rutherford from Los Angeles 32 years ago, they brought with them a vision of building a winery, an unwavering work ethic, and two young daughters who soaked in the couple's entrepreneurial spirit and love for Napa's beautiful farmland. They established Peju Province Winery and dedicated themselves to welcoming guests and to crafting exceptional wines from their organically farmed estate vineyard. Still family owned and operated today, Peju Province Winery has transformed over the past 32 years from a simple grape growing venture into a landmark winery celebrated for elegant, complex, and balanced wines in the classic Bordeaux varieties.

We tired wines all over Napa and truly were bored by a good bit of them. This place is special. They have blends that I loved, despite me thinking that I would not like blends at all. This place changed my mind. The history is interesting, the tasting was engaging and educational, and the staff was friendly. We were told... More

We went to a lot of great wineries but our favorite was definitely Peju [so much so that we went back twice on our 2 day trip and joined the club the 2nd time]. I love how unpretentious the winery is...and how delicious. I bought far too many wines in my already overstocked wine rack. If you're trying to figure... More

Knowing we were getting into St. Helena late afternoon, I was looking for a winery that was open late so our group could get their first winery tasting experience. I called Peju a week before our arrival to ensure we could still taste if we walked in last minute. The gentleman on the phone assured me saying indeed if we... More

The property is very nice. Our pourer, Jeff from Texas, was great and very knowledgable. Ask him how he came to work at Peju, it is a very cool story. The wines were very good and worth the money, the red/white blend was different but very good. Enjoy your time here. The family story is also very cool.

Our group of 8, celebrating a birthday, all agreed that Peju was the best stop while in Napa! We knew we loved the wines already, but left loving them even more! Darlene helped us set up our day... We did the whole dining experience with their amazing chef, Alex. The wines are fabulous, our tour master, Stewart, was knowledgeable and... More

We really like Peju wines and were looking forward to stopping in for a tasting. Unfortunately our experience was just underwhelming. We didn't learn about the wines, the tasting was quick, and the gentleman doing the pouring was just lacking interest in his job. I think they should rethink how they do tastings. The wine was good and with the... More

My daughter and I spent our special birthdays in Northern California. One of the many wineries we visited was Peju. Our host was fabulous, funny, and knowledgeable. Sorry, cant remember his name. :( The grounds are beautiful, the store is also wonderful, so many beautiful things to buy. But the wine really stands out. We took home a case, free... More

We very much enjoyed the vine testing at this vineyard! Great wine selection and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our favorite was their Pink Rose! We got couple of bottles. On the way out we sat in the garden and we had a pleasure to meet the owner Mr. Tony Peju himself. Very friendly man :)

We always visit Peju when we're in Napa. Beautiful property and unique building. Wine too is one of our favorites, just as good as expected given the location...
