When Tony and Herta "H.B." Peju relocated to Rutherford from Los Angeles 32 years ago, they brought with them a vision of building a winery, an unwavering work ethic, and two young daughters who soaked in the couple's entrepreneurial spirit and love for Napa's beautiful farmland. They established Peju Province Winery and dedicated themselves to welcoming guests and to crafting exceptional wines from their organically farmed estate vineyard. Still family owned and operated today, Peju Province Winery has transformed over the past 32 years from a simple grape growing venture into a landmark winery celebrated for elegant, complex, and balanced wines in the classic Bordeaux varieties.

We wandered in here on our drive from the airport up to our hotel in Calistoga. We were tired and decided against do a tasting. However, we enjoyed walking around the property and visiting the art gallery upstairs. There are pretty gardens outside with pink flowers and some gorgeous palm trees. It was a hot day and they had some... More

The landscaping and gardens at Peju are so pretty that they embraced us with welcome when we stepped foot on the grounds. Once inside, we were escorted to one of their tasting counters. Melinda, our tasting room ambassador, provided a brief history of Peju as an introduction. She knew her wine. Several current samplings of classic Peju wines were poured.... More

The winery is just beautiful. The furnishings, interior and exterior building is eye candy. The wine tasting was a little like a show, but all in all it was a fun time.

I had Peju wine at Straits cafe and thought it was pretty good so decided to swing byAt the winery. $25/person for wine tasting for 4 wines, if you buy 2 bottles your tasting is waived. Our host, Ryan was hilarious and more importantly, knowledgeable. They do their tastings a little different from the others. It's a little more personable... More

Lovely spot to spend an afternoon sipping delicious wine. The grounds are a tranquil and welcoming place to hold an event. Chef prepares delicious meals in the Outdoor Oven with remarkable flair. Tasting room is beautiful and the wine selections are wonderfully and thoughtfully served because the various blends are genius. Thank you for a wonderful visit, the staff was... More

I brought a group of friends here based on a relative's recommendation. It was not a good experience. After being called to confirm our reservation when we were 2 minutes late (we were minutes away) we then cooled our heels in the lobby for quite some time. The tasting itself was expensive with small pours and a very flippant host.... More

I read amazing reviews about this place and decided to try it. Don't bother, it's pretentious and way too expensive. This was THE MOST expensive tasting we had and the wines we got to try weren't that pricey themselves. To give you an idea of the culture here, Their tasting room is full of $100+ cashmere scarves and other Napa... More
