We visited during our honeymoon trip based on a Fodor's review. It was so much better than even the review made it seem! We learned a lot about sustainable wine production and the history of the property, we tasted some pretty good and very interesting wines, and we learned about the grape growing and wine making process. I was also... More

Our first visit many years ago…there was only this quirky red barn, the owner's were greeting and talking to us, lots of fun, humorous touches in decorations and comments. This time it has "grown up"…new, more formal building. Good wine tasting. But has lost it's quirky charm and fun atmosphere. Used to be a more refreshing, laid back approach and... More

Frog's Leap transported us! Maybe it was the weather that day - a bit damp and cool - we could literally taste the wood of the barn at Frog's Leap! The ambiance was fantastic, the wines were great - the zin stood out. The stainless steel vats brought out the modern design element in the place - felt being in... More

Frog's Leap was amazing! Completely different wine tasting experience. My husband and I really enjoyed sitting on the porch, chatting with the guy pouring our wine (sorry, I forget your name!). We learned so much about their wine, viniculture, and his thoughts on the industry. The wine was fantastic and we were in no rush and they didn't try to... More

We had searched for a different winery to try and picked Frog's Leap at the last minute. It was one of our favorites! We sat on the back porch for our wine tasting. They have ceiling mounted heaters and blankets if needed. This was very different from our other wine tastings. They bring you out 5 wines to taste and... More

The grounds were beautiful. We sat on a heated patio which was comfortable with a great view. During the tasting we got a little plate with crackers and cheese. Our server was excellent, gave us lots of information and made us feel comfortable. I really enjoyed two of the wines. Though we sat on the patio, they also have a... More

The tasting experience on the back porch is the most relaxing and tranquil place in Napa. We went to 11 wineries and this was the best. No one sat with you and tried to sell you anything. They explained the wines, poured all of them and left. Came back with some cheese and crackers. Oh, and there wines are very... More

We first read about Frog's Leap on the Napa on a Budget website. After visiting Frog's Leap's website, I knew this was a vineyard I wanted to tour. They are only open for tastings and tours M-F, so you have to plan carefully. We signed up for the first tour on Friday (10:30) and really enjoyed our time there. This... More
