This was our first stop in the Valley, recommended by hotel concierge, and it was a great introduction! The tour was relaxed and informative, the wines are great, and you can tell everybody enjoys working there.

My wife and I made reservations for an early Monday afternoon Garden Wine Tasting. It turned out to be a perfect time to go after having just enjoyed a nice lunch in Rutherford. When we arrived we first took a short stroll through the garden to take in the ambience of the property and surrounding gardens and vineyard. It came... More

We booked a Garden Wine Tasting and loved every minute. Great change of pace if you're tired of standing at the wine bar at the large wineries. Much more relaxing to be tasting sitting out on the Adirondack chairs overlooking their pond or their garden. Or take a stroll thru their vegetable or flower gardens. Great wine from a small... More

My husband was there before the rest of the party so they offered him a glass of wine and a chair in a very comfortable sitting room whilst he waited for our arrival. Once we were all together we all continued to relax in the lounge whilst our wines were poured. We were then situated outside on a wooden deck... More

This is a great spot if you are travelling with the family around Napa. The wines are great, yes, but this place goes beyond the normal tasting houses to include some family friendly stuff as well. The staff are very welcoming, you are encouraged to walk around the property, and the tasting experience was great. It was nice to see... More

This was my third visit to the Frog's Leap Winery. I keep coming back for so many reasons. First of all, the place is just warm and inviting. I love the casual feel and the location of the tastings. Second, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to have an informal conversation. When I was here last, in March for... More

We chose Frog's Leap after reading in the Fordor's book that it was a family friendly winery and they did not disappoint. Our 3 children, ages 14, 12 and 10 were set up with a "soda tasting" comprised of clear naturally flavored sodas. While we tasted our wines, which were amazing, our kids worked hard to guess their flavors which... More

Definitely visit this winery for a tasting. You sit on their lovely porch, looking out at the gardens, while you taste four wines. They also provide a smallsnack plate. This is an unpretentious place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will gladly pour you additional tastings of the wines you like. Stroll through the garden while you sip. We... More

Such a great place!!! The wines are delish, however the grounds are just beautiful!! Very unique farmhouse type, modern rustic. Very "green" feel, with an herb and veggie garden, even farm animals. I don't believe this winery does tours, we just did a tasting on their porch and then roamed among ourselves, which was great (wasn't interested in another formal... More

We were late to the tour/tasting but that didn't matter. They offered us a tasting on the terrace. We were overlooking the lovely gardens and enjoying the cheese and crackers. The wine was lovely and so we joined another wine club!! Another must see for the those touring Napa valley.
