If you are looking to start your tastings at 9:30 (walk-in) come here first. Don't expect much in terms of 'experience' - very professional and friendly staff, good wine - but the tasting will definitely get lost in your day's experience. We did purchase a bottle of their anniversary edition - really good!

Came here after Christmas, paid for the private tasting and it was definitely worth it, and you get a free wine glass! Just be sure to make reservations.

Caymus and its associated labels make some very good wines. The wines alone will get me back on some future visit to Napa but I won't make the same decision to throw down the extra cost for a seated tasting. We did the seated tasting a year ago and thoroughly enjoyed a very personalized experience but this time around the... More

Don't go there, it is a waste of time!! Worst Customer service ever! I was so disappointed that I didn't even bother to buy any wine! Costco sells Caymus's wines cheaper than at the Winery! If you don't want to lose the Napa Valley spirit, don't visit Caymus, even-though their wine is one of the best! No star for you... More

The setting was nice, but there were fees to pay upon entry, lines to wait in, impersonal service, and not much information given. Generally, a waste of time.

If you like big red wines, there is no better place than Caymus. In recent years, Caymus has become the consistent top-performer in the California Cabernet arena. The Special Selection is one of the very best from Napa rivaling Opus, Silver Oak, and a few of those very, very expensive wines. The 40th Anniversary Cab was one of the finest... More

Caymus has long been a favorite wine of ours. The Special Selection is always phenomenal, the regular cab is always great (and some years, almost as good as the Special) and the 40 year is truly something amazing! We scheduled a sit down tasting ($40/pp) and enjoyed every sip! We were there specifically to taste their Zin, because we can't... More

One of the highlights of our trip to Napa was visiting this winery. The wine tasting was exceptional which included a tasting of their 40 year anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon, OMG.The setting was upscale, contemporary with country chic touches complete with plenty of seating area in and around their manicured grounds and terraces. A must see, definately try to book a... More

Caymus' tasting and tours are pricey, but worth the extra. You will need a reservation and this is a little drive from the Napa center, but be ready for elevating your tastebuds. The history of the family and the business is very interesting and their cheese is something special.
