Very good Cabernet

This is on the main Napa road. They are very friendly. The tasting room is large and spacious. The wine is really very good, especially the cabs. This is very much recommended.

Some wineries are over the top with gardens and sculptures so this one seems a bit basic but really the wines were some of the best we tasted. And what really counts at a winery? Staff were helpful too.

We enjoyed stopping at Provenance Vineyards and doing a wine tasting. In particular their cab franc was quite good and we bought a couple of bottles to enjoy. The staff here is friendly and its a delightful winery to stop at when in Rutherford area of Napa Valley.

Our final stop of our wine tasting was another Cabernet tasting at Provenance Vineyards. Since we arrived late in the afternoon, the tasting room, which consists of a U-shaped tasting counter, was not busy. After getting our first pour from the Reserve Tasting Menu, our server said we could stay in tasting room or sit in the patio and he... More

I was so glad to be able to visit this winery. I absolutley love Hewitt Wines and of course the Provenance label is outstanding also. The staff here were very very friendly and so much fun. They made us feel very welcome, good job Marlene. It must have been my lucky day because not only did I get to have... More

We added this to our trip at the last minute and I am soooo glad we did. We set up a Hewitt reserve tasting, as we had had their wines in the past. We had Debbie as our host for the tasting and she was absolutely fantastic! She took us around the vineyard and talked about the history and how... More

Love their wines but the dishwasher is at the tasting bar. who's idea was this??? wine educators were busy washing dishes instead of telling us about their wines. they are also suppose to have a picnic area - if you are there in the fall of 2014 don't plan on using it as it is under construction and you will... Found this vineyard based on a recommendation from Sterling vineyards. What a gem. The wines were amazing. I am normally do not drink Sauvignon blanc but we couldn't resist buying a couple bottles. Juan was an amazing. Very helpful and informative. Will definitely be back and will add these wines to my list of must buys.

We first discovered Provenance wines on a wine dinner cruise on San Francisco Bay in 2007. Provenance wines have remained consistently good through the years.

We visit Provenance every time we come to Napa and always leave with a case or two. If you like your reds with “Rutherford Dust,” then this is the place for you.
